“For a place to sleep, it's great.”
The room was quiet, check in/out was easy.
“A very nice little hotel.”
It is a budget hotel so be advised that the default continental breakfast (included in price) is on the slim side. Also, there is no wi-fi in the hotel and the only computer in the reception area is a bit under-powered. The view from most of the rooms is not great: two parking lots. Now on the plus side: - we found a very clean room, bathroom and reception area. - the furniture looks (or is) new. - the staff is friendly and check-in / out process was quick. - A/C, TV, fridge, coffee maker, bathroom faucets - were all in working order. - the hotel looks nice on the outside as well. - it's easy to find - big building with HOJO sign on the right-hand side of Ouelette Ave (driving north), shortly after the E.C. Row underpass. - there's a 24 hours Tim Horton's twenty feet away - so you don't have to go hunting for food at night :) - it's a 5 minutes drive from the downtown clubs and restaurants. When I saw the price I had some initial concerns - about quality, but I nonetheless decided to give it a try. We were both (my wife and I) pleasantly surprised - as it's much better than other hotels in Windsor, at 60% of the prices we paid elsewhere. And no, they didn't pay me for the review :)
“Good stay.”
Friendy staff and good service. The free breakfast tasted good and there were a lot of choices. I missed nothing.
“Clean and comfortable on the inside...ugly on the outside. Good price for a place to sleep.”
Clean and comfortable rooms. Newish furniture. Outdated bathroom. Pretty lame continental breakfast...Holiday Inn Express is better. Ugly hotel from the outside. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and won't be spending too much time in the hotel, I would recommend this hotel only because it was the cheapest hotel in Windsor.
“Good value/clean accomodations”
Rooms were big and clean - loved the waffle-maker for continental breakfast. Washroom was clean and inviting. only thing I didn't like was the air conditioning blew directly on one of the queen beds, freezing those occupants but not reaching the other bed. No windows for fresh air. Left my phone charger in room and front desk could not locate it a week later.
“it was fine”
it was fine and a deal the hotel is clean the pillows were soft
“green place with good green trees views”
Wounder full place to stay and take a couple of days for rest
“Great place to stay.”
Had a lovely stay and the staff were friendly and efficient. Only draw back was that during breakfast (from 7-10), which was held in the lobby, they were vacuuming, and opening and closing outside doors. They have a flat screen tv which was difficult to hear because of the vacuum, and since it was quite chilly outside we were sitting in a draft.
“Stayed Twice in the Last Month”
I found the Hotel very good for the Price. It is not the most modern interior, but is was clean, and inexpensive, so it does serves it purpose. Also, it has a Tim Horton's next door, What else could a Canadian want. :-)
“Econmical”
Nice Basic Facilities, except Comfort sheets was really poor... Heating system was controless, was not stinky at all, Good to stay !
