Upon checking in, I had noticed the type of customers checking in looked suspicious. Went to my room and noticed the building looked disgusting. There was trash and dirt in the halls and it stunk horribly. My room looked nothing like the pictures. The bathroom looked disgusting and there was no hot water. I stayed with a friend and the Townsynd 20 minutes away after driving 6 hours. Complained to front desk next morning and was told they couldn’t give me a refund because the computer doesn’t allow it. I was given a receipt and told to call hotels.com. Hotels.com told me that I had to wait until Monday because a manager isn’t there but front desk would notate everything. Today, the “manager” told hotels.com I never complained to front desk. She’s claiming the employee never worked there that checked me out. Claiming she was working all Friday and Saturday. She laughed while I was explaining the situation. She basically insinuated that I was a liar. When I requested a supervisor over her because the conversation wasn’t productive, she laughed at me. She told me they don’t give refunds and said the only other person over her is someone named Tom who is the owner. The customer service here is subpar and if not rectified, I’ll be taking this a step further
