“The perfect location”

I chose the Southfield location because of the many things I had to do in that area, in addition to the free breakfast. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok. I didn't have breakfast there for the other day of my stay. However, overall for the price and the convenience, I would stay there again.

“convention weekend”

EASY CHECK IN, ROOM COMFY, GREAT BEDS. STAYED WITH MY SON DURING YOUMACON CONVENTION THAT WAS DOWNTOWN DETROIT. THE HOTEL WAS EASY ON AND OFF THE HIGHWAY AND ABOUT 20 MINUTES AWAY.

“A little hard to find”

Driving from the Detroit Metro Airport, this was a little tricky to find, and apparently I'm not the only one to think so. I joked to the desk clerk "could they make it any harder to find?" and he laughed and said he didn't think so. Get directions before you head out. Other than that, my stay was great. Very comfortable bed, spacious room, very quiet. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. My 2nd-floor room was near the rear of the hotel so I parked in back and walked upstairs most of the time. There is just one elevator near the front of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was quite varied, good coffee too! I ate at both restaurants next to the hotel -- the Korean/Japanese one was fabulous so I ate there twice.

“Midnight room switch--a positive experience!”

I had a minor problem with my bathroom at 1130pm and wanted to clean it up myself, the front desk staff would not hear of it. While I understood their response to offer another room to me, it was late, I had pajamas on and was unpacked already. The staff, at the front desk made it so convenient to move by getting me a room 2 doors down from where my orig room was and even helped me pack up all my belongings that night. . She insisted that she could not have me in a room with minor bathroom issues even if it were for a short amount of time. I was so appreciative.

“Amazing Service -- Top Notch”

Service was incredible at this hotel. Hotel employees just seemed to anticipate our needs and answer our questions before we could even ask them! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I would stay at this hotel whenever I am in the Detroit area.
