Initially, they advertised online that they had a pool, but upon arrival, I discovered that it was not in service. I even took a picture of it. Surprisingly, there are many hotels priced under $80 without a pool. I ended up paying $102 in US dollars. I booked the hotel for my kids, who always enjoy swimming. The main reason for spending extra money was for the pool. We live in Windsor, so I drove for 40 minutes, planning to leave in the morning and return at night. However, this unexpected disappointment ruined my kids' long weekend. They should refund my money considering the circumstances.

Checked into this hotel expecting a peaceful stay, but was rudely awakened by loud remodeling noises and constant knocking starting at 7 AM. Absolutely couldn't rest and had to check out by 9:30 AM due to the disruption. Really disappointing when you're looking forward to some relaxation. Ugh, that's even worse that they didn't do anything about it! Moreover, when I brought up the issue with the staff, all I got was a 'sorry, we're remodeling.' No action was taken to mitigate the noise or offer a solution. Highly do not recommend staying here if you actually want to get some sleep. Additionally, the bathroom door wouldn't fully shut, compromising privacy, and there was water on the floor before we even used it. Between the noise and the room issues, this hotel is a hard pass if you're looking for comfort or a good night's sleep.

Don’t do it. You’ll regret it.
Wow. Cheap price got me. Came in for a family emergency, didn’t want to spend a lot. Arrived around 12am. Hallways run down, whatever no big deal. It’s cheap. Room had a bug on the sheet. Shower had mold. It was late, decided to suck it up. Went to brush my teeth, black water came pouring out. I packed my bags and went to the Hilton down the street. I tried to get a refund and the property manager declined. They clearly need to trick people out of money to make money. Stay away. I travel a lot, and this is by far, the worse hotel I have ever been in. (And I only lasted less than an hour in total).

The front desk and breakfast service was wonderful. The lady that did the breakfast was very attentive to all the guests making them feel welcome. She helped with the waffle maker and answered questions. She engaged with the guests in a very friendly and welcoming way. The comfort was fine, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good temperature and pressure. However on the second night all of the cold water stopped working in our room. There was construction sound all day long. The general maintenance was lacking, the towel rack kept falling, the wallpaper was coming away from the walls. And when they moved our room because of the water issue the new room's bed was not as comfortable. We didn't get any kind of discount for the inconvenience of moving rooms. And it created frustration at the end of our trip when we were supposed to be relaxing and preparing for our drive home. We could have been swimming in the pool but instead we were packing up our stuff to move into a different room.

Issues: Room 149. Wallpaper coming off, bathroom door handle falling off, toilet handle loose (husband fixed), seat loose, toilet very low to ground - hard for older people, sink drain broken, desk chair totally broken, door to cabinet for fridge did not close, dull lighting over sink, no Channel guide, towel bar by shower fell off wall- we fixed, shower pan needs caulking. No pillow top mattress which was in ad description. This room sure needs a lot of maintenance! Hence we will not stay there again! Very disappointed in this place!

Front desk associates were very friendly! Lady in the morning that handled breakfast was on her A Game and was very friendly. Room was clean and pretty nice. Shower head was not great and the water pooled in the shower tub when showering. Other than that great experience!

Lotsa of improvements happening around the hotel but the rooms are where they need an upgrade. Our sofa couch had worn patches and cigarette burns. That item needs to be retired. When two people are sharing the room, you need shampoo/conditioner/lotion for both parties. Time to rethink the free breakfast too.

Would not return. The rooms were dirty. Everything felt sticky from the TV remote & tiles to the light switches and faucet. Ceiling drywall was in poor repair above the shower, our bathroom door knob didn't latch and the door to the room was hard to close.

The staff was incredible. Top notch. This alone will make me book again when going to a U of M game. Convient location close to Ann Arbor. Quiet street leading to the hotel. Nice pool and weight room. Breakfast was great, everything was fresh. I Highly recommend.

After reading the reviews I was expecting so much more. Pros: The check-in receptionist was personable and funny. Coming from Ohio and visiting Michigan there is always going to a joke. The breakfast offered was actually not horrible considering its a hotel. The room look overall was sufficient. Having a microwave, coffee pot and mini fridge that works was great. Cons: The bed is FIRM! I was expecting some kind of softness, but there is none. The pillows offered are all small but they give you plenty, but its not comfortable. When checking the bed I noticed the sheets were inside out. The carpet is FILTHY. Make sure to walk around with some type of shoes on all time. We had to put down dirty towels to walk on after a shower. The bathroom is huge which is great for anyone in a wheelchair. But the shower is completely something else. There isn't a normal shower head but one with a hose. So the shower was awful, barely any water pressure when switched to shower. Took what should have been a 20 minute shower into a 40 minutes. We asked the front desk when housekeeping comes through if they could vacuum around the bed. The receptionist looked at us like we were crazy. Then told us that we would have to request housekeeping a day before. Which now makes me wonder if thats why the sheets were inside out. Outside of the check-in receptionist, the others were too busy either making their own personal appointments, or just being in the back.

Comfort Inn Plymouth: Pretty Good
It's difficult to comment on the conditions of my stay as I was barely in my room, but I'll try. The room seemed nice enough for what I needed it for, just a place close to the conference center as opposed to commuting back and forth between home. I appreciated the outward swinging bathroom door because it seems like most hotels have inward swinging doors, although it didn't exactly fit in the frame. And while the room was non-smoking, the bathroom definitely was. Also, the bed was a little firmer than I like. And, I did pick up a cold from somewhere on my trip. There's no proof that it was from the Comfort Inn specifically, but it did happen. Breakfast was good, and the hotel looked like it aspired to be more than what it was (it's only two floors and sort of hidden away near the expressway, but has an upper class aesthetic), but I don't entirely feel like I got my money's worth.

Decent hotel
This is a decent hotel for the price and it's very comfortable, however it is in need of a detailed clean and upgrade. The fridge does not get very cold, the toilets are weak, the wallpaper is peeling and there's plenty of mold to be found in the showers. But the bed is comfortable and rooms are quiet. Plenty of parking. I had a early checkout at 5:00 a.m. and nobody was there to check me out so I ended up leaving my room keys on the front desk.
