A spiritual journey will lead you through the street of Old City Jerusalem and to the very spot where Jesus was crucified. The city is packed with ancient architecture that will leave you in awe of the techniques that were used to build it. It is a place that has been used for pilgrimages and Jewish prayer for centuries. You do not have to be Christian or Jewish to appreciate the buildings within the perimeters of the wall.

"Wonderful Retreat away from the City"
I booked two rooms at this hotel for 24 - 27 July for a friends reunion. I had booked the main hotel building and got a bargain of £50 per room per night. However when I got there my friend and I had both been upgraded to junior suites at the Palm Tree Court part of the resort free of charge as the main building was under refurbishment and would not be ready for our stay. I must admit I was a bit apprehensive on the way to the hotel in the taxi as I hadn't realised it was so far from the city. However the peace and tranquility of the beautifully landscaped grounds and the comfortable rooms soon dispelled any doubts. This place really was the perfect retreat. It has several pools and its own 800m stretch of beach, with lots of sunbeds either pool or beachside. The staff are great, so attentive and polite. There are golf buggies to ferry you about the resort if like us your room is far from reception etc and it's 42 degrees! There are all sorts of activities; golf, shooting, horseriding and a very nice spa. Free coaches are run to and from the big shopping malls, and Atlantis the Palm, so you are able to have the best of both worlds. I could not fault this place and had a wonderful weekend. I would definitely return and would reccomend it to friends. Whether or not I would ever strike it lucky with free room upgrades again is another story!

"Nice hotel close to the beach"
The hotel is on the main north-south street along the Tel Aviv seaside, near the marina. Not a luxury neighborhood, but it felt quite safe to walk around at night. Comfortable room. There is a small bar area on the ground level next to sliding doors leading out to the pool (which we didn't use due to the weather). We had booked the room without included breakfast. On check-in we were given the option to have breakfast for an additional $15/person, but with no charge if we chose to go elsewhere. We tried the buffet breakfast the first morning and were totally overwhelmed with the variety and quality of the food. Even a "chef" to prepare omelets to order. We went back each morning we stayed there and it was well worth the cost. But it was nice to have the option to go elsewhere if we had wanted to.
