"High levels of service in luxurious surroundings."
We had an amazing week here. I felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. All the staff have a smile and a word for you whenever you encounter them. I liked the layout of the hotel, the restaurants, the beach.. everything really. We were in a Horizon Club room which means you have a separate lounge for breakfast and snacks, teas and coffee throughout the day. Oh.. you also have happy (2) hours from 6-8pm each evening where alcoholic drinks are served if that's an attraction, it is for us. It was great, look at these room rates if this appeals. The only gap in service was occasionally at the pool bar/ restaurant we had to wait quite a while for our lunch. However , when we were on the beach the staff did inform us about the wait. Food delivered to your shaded sun beds and set up on your own tray table for you is worth waiting for in my opinion! It didn't spoil things for me. I read the book 'Lost Horizon' which I found in the drawer in the room. All I can say is the concept worked for me, I slept really well, felt rejuvenated and certainly didn't want to leave! I hope to return to this Shangri La one day.

    "Luxury vacation"
The hotel exudes with luxury from the lobby to the different fine restaurants. The suite we stayed in has all what you may think of for your stay except for one thing: internet usage comes at a high charge( I used a roaming data package from my country that cost me less than 20 per cent of the proposed charge). The hotel has its own beach, pools and is annexed to one of the biggest malls. We enjoyed our stay very much.

"Friendly Staff, Nice Room, Great Area"
I stayed at Ben Yehuda Apartments for 2 nights, mid-week. I was at first concerned about the terminology "apartments" as I wasn't sure if I was going to be in a hotel or renting somebody's apartment. I was glad to see on my arrival that apartments really means that you're room comes with a kitchenette. On arrival, I met the a very friendly staff member who gave me a cold drink and a snack, while preparing all of the documents of my stay. She also gave me a map of the area and a couple one-pagers with fun stuff to do in the area. The room was very comfortable and clean. The view was of the alley beside the building - but I wasn't there to hang out in my room all day. The room had nice AC (which is hugely helpful in early July) with a temperature control. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. The kitchenette had a small fridge (think dorm size), microwave, hot plate and sink. The room also had a small kitchen table with seating for 3. The bed was clean and very comfortable. I checked out on a Friday morning, which has earlier than normal time (9:00 am) due to Shabbat. I'd highly recommend Ben Yehuda apartments. The location was great, only one block to the beach with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. I couldn't have been happier with my choice.

    "Most enjoyable stay"
The hotel is most enjoyable yet quite expansive in terms of the value for the price. It's a relatively old structure that has been renovated over the years multiple times (most recently in 4/2014) but the overall size of each guest room cannot be stretched. The standard and deluxe rooms are quite tight. The bathroom facilities are very convenient, although the sink area is quite small. The LED lights all over the room, especially on the bathroom is terrible. No ability to keep a small low light in the bathroom. The light is harsh. Also by the bed sides. The only half decent one was the desk lamp. The location is excellent, the Israeli breakfast is very good and recommended. The pool area and access to the sea are very good. The decor is pleasing including the corridors to the rooms. All the shops are Very expansive.
