Typical nasty hotel breakfast. Went out to eat breakfast/brunch 3 of the 4 days we stayed there. Furniture, curtains, bathroom all very dated. Supposedly 4 star hotel? no more than 2 stars at best.

Everything about this property was awesome, friendly staff met you on arrival, checkin was easy and quick. breakfast was great i love the eggs..i wasn't feeling well the second day and i went downstairs to get some hot water, then front desk called to find out if i was feeling better.will be visiting Destin again just to stay at Wingate at Wyndham.

My room was very clean along with the dining area. The pool and whirlpool area were clean as well. The breakfast was very good which is not typical for most hotels I stayed at. My only complaint was that I wanted to check in early but the hotel has a $20 per hour charge if you want to check in before 2:30. I never had that charge at any other hotel I stayed at.

Good stay, did not like having to put a card on deposit incase we destroyed the room. It was me and my 80 year old father in town for a wedding.
