“Village Inn Des Moines Review”

We thought the motel was extremely clean, especially the bathroom. Staff was very helpful about nearby restaurants. Also liked that it was WiFi accessible and many outlets to plug in phones, laptop, kindle, etc. Also the hotel was right next to the road we needed to continue our trip.

“Nice place to stay”

It is a nice place to stay. The staff there are very helpful and friendly. Mcdonald's is just across the street.

“Fine for an over night stay”

Cheap and just fine for staying overnight. The room was small, but clean. No problems.

“Good value, low on frills.”

Opulent? No. Lots of cushy amenities? No. Good value? Yes. Village Inn does not offer the customary tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner and lotion. It also does not offer a mint on the pillow or turndown service at night. If you are looking for that level of pampering, this is not your place. However, if you want basic accommodations at a corresponding nightly rate, you will be fine here.

had to ask for and go get shampoo/conditioner from the desk. none in the room.

“Okay for a quick trip and short stay.”

If I stay here again I'll know to request a room on the ground or first floor. And a view where I can keep an eye on my vehicle.

Personel are friendly, place has a musty smell but seemed clean enough. Old mattress, not the best. Overall a little pricey for the level of quality, but the location was good for us.

“Illinois Business Trip”

Beds and Pillows could have been better. Also old tvs not flatscreens. Quiet and located close to where we wanted to be. Overall an OK hotel for the price. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we had a problem and fixed it right away.

“Not Good”

No air in room. Had to wait in lobby for 20 min. or more someone to deside what to do about the air. We had 3 children ,1 is 6 mo. baby.Hotel did not give dicount or anything. Tried to call Manger no luck.
