The staff was great. The room was pretty big. A few items that bothered us. If you used your room key to enter from the back door, it wouldn't work to let you in your room. Apparently it's a safety feature. That is a hassle when you park in the back and are staying for 4 days and have to go to the front desk every time. There were stains on the sheets in the hideabed. And our shower tile has a huge crack in it.

The room was large and well equipped. The breakfast was good with a lot of options - eggs, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal with all the fixins, waffle maker, pastries and juices. The bed was a bit lumpy with feather pillows which were not supportive or comfortable. I expect some noise in a hotel but the bed was right by the window and we heard more parking lot noise than you would hope for.

The staff was not friendly or helpful. Took us 25 minutes to check in and no one was in front of us. One of our rooms had no shampoo or soap. When we asked they just shrugged their shoulders. we were told I don't know. Property needs to be updated. Lobby is great, room furniture is cracked and old.

Wow 25 mins to check in that is awful... I am sorry we didnt offer the shampoo or soap to replace and we are going through renovation this year... hope you revisit us again.

The airport shuttle is not marked and they did not communicate that fact to us, so we missed their last shuttle of the day. We expected marriott shuttles to be clearly marked with their name, but they apparently use a private company sometimes and never told us that.

Comfortable rooms with uncomfortable furniture (sofa and bed--one too soft and one too hard). Old person talking here. Clean and well stocked with exception of shmutz on the headboard. Would stay again except it wasn't as convenient as hoped. Should have been on the west side of town instead. My mistake!

Stay here, you won't regret it! We had to be in Denver for 3 weeks while our mom had surgery at UC Denver medical center. I had wanted to rent a home but we wound up staying here and it turned out to be the best thing. There are many long term residents, and we made friends. It was so great to have a community while away from home. The staff, the other residents, everybody was just lovely, knew our names, asked after our mom each day. It was literally a home away for home for me and my brother.

Aurora family visit
UC Anschutz hospital is a relatively short drive if you have a family member in the hospital. The hotel has various restaurants within walking distance if you do not want to cook. However, there is a microwave, full refrigerator and a 2- burner glass top to cook meals. The front staff was very helpful and friendly. The morning breakfast was very complete- there was something for everyone's appetite...even the decaf coffee was good 😉 There was not an ice machine on any of the floors b/c there were full-sized refrigerators in the room. The staff was able to get us some for our short-term need. Unfortunately,we did not have time to use the indoor pool nor hot tub.

A disappointment
The man who checked us in was very ill. He was sweating and kept complaining no one would come in so he could go home. He was clearly very sick. The doors to the hotel were broken and you had to pry them open. Which was very difficult with luggage. The elevator was broken. On a positive note our room was comfortable and clean.

arrived 8 pm at Denver gateway residence inn. 100’s of passengers with cancelled flights. Single male attendant at front desk left his station to see if “rooms were cleaned. 40 people on line in lobby waited for one hour with no one at front desk!!! Still waiting now.

Property did not honor reservation made through Orbitz. Gigi at front desk stated 3rd party reservations were not guaranteed and they gave away our prepaid room to someone else.

No room at the Inn…and no support from Hotels.com
Brutally bad experience….again. Went to the hotel and they had no rooms. Even though confirmed and paid for. Second time in the last few months this has happened. And Hotels.com offers nothing except platitudes and their best efforts to get a refund. Don’t see me booking with the platform any longer.

Due to a very early flight I was only at the hotel for a couple of hours. However, it was clean, had plenty of room and overall a comfortable stay. As a woman traveling alone and during the overnight and early hours I felt safe.

First the room that we booked was not available upon arrival, they gave me two rooms in place of the 2br. I was mistakenly charged almost $2k after already paying through expedia. Then the rooms, we had two towels, toilet seat was broken, bathroom fan was so loud I thought it may explode. The pull out couch mattress was awful. The room wasn't dirty, but dingy, and no remote for the TV. The one positive was the bed itself was very comfortable. The staff was friendly, just had the screw up with the charges. Going to skip Residence Inn's from now on.

Do not stay here!!!
Terrible experience. Room was next to mexhanical room, ice machine inoperable. Pool and hot tub inoperable. There was an incident where someone shkt a gun and hit a water pipe that led to being walked out. Hotel management refuses a refund or to even have a conversation about that night. You are better off in a tent by the highway.

Under construction. Garbage left in hallway for 2days. Carpet strips and construction materials left in hall/trip hazard. Hot tub out of order. Disappointing. Paid almost $200 a night.
