Our stuff was thrown out because there was a miscommunication between the staff on which guest was supposed to leave. They hardly will maintenance the room and they’re stingy with the cups and trash bags. There is so many homeless that you can hear them at night. I felt like I was at a motel 6. Should of gone to one, it would of been cheaper.

This is not at all what occurred, your reservation was not made accordingly to what you asked by the third party, we accommodated you (FOR THEM) by giving you a free night. We rectified the situation and refunded money to you as well because you stated you were on SSI and had limited funds. So, we went above and beyond to help in a situation that was not any fault of our own. Thanks for the review.

Not worst, but not the best. Our family had a room at the same hotel, but they also had a not the best experience. Our room was clean, but the tub was run down. The clothes iron did not work properly. Our family had a room that smelled of weed and a toilet that didn’t work great.

A few maintenance items could be done. Like closet door needs adjustment. Toilet tipped forward. Mold on ceiling above tub. Tub didn’t drain very fast. Liked the complementary Little Dove Soaps. Breakfast was Okay.

The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, & it was quiet. However, the hotel is very old & definitely needs work. It smelled old & slightly musty. The towels & sheets smelled/looked clean, so good job to the housekeeping staff for doing their best. The sink & tub were chipped in places & the tub drain was rusty. My biggest complaint is that there was no hot water. The shower was lukewarm with minimal water pressure. Also, breakfast has to be eaten in the lobby. There is a large sign on the door that food can't be taken past the entrance; that was very odd to say the least. We stayed here because it was an emergency due to no water at our place, so it was last minute. Otherwise, I would've had more time to look & would not have chosen this place.

I would not stay here again.
I think that the daytime staff was friendly and helpful. The guys shoveling snow were great, too! However, did not have any hot water the entire 48 hour stay. What makes it worse was La Quinta did not inform me that they did not and would not have any hot water. They continued to book rooms at a $30 higher rate due to the winter storm. Garbage and dog messes all over the place. I will be requesting compensation from Hotels.com because I am fairly certain you cannot rent out rooms that do not have hot water.

Dear Claire,We apologize for any inconvenience as a key card not working can be very frustrating. Our key cards are easily de-magnetized by phone or other cards and anything magnetic. So it is very important that you carry your key in the key card holder as having it loose in a pocket next to a phone can cause it to be de-magnetized. Unfortunately we had bed bugs. The gentleman helped us and we switched rooms it was upgraded, but it wasn’t as clean. I think upper management needs to thoroughly have all rooms disinfected by bed bugs. I didn’t leave hotel because it was New years Eve. Again the gentle man was nice and helpful. I think this is an upper district or director issue. Keep rooms clean and safe for your customers.
