Not worth the moneyPosted 17-Feb-2014
Pros: Polite staff
Cons: See detailed review
This was our third visit. First was full of issues...no wifi, no cable. The second was perfect. But this time..not good. No upgrade offered or granted when requested even though the hotel was not full. Room was not much larger than our walk in closet at home. The mattress was collapsed in the middle so,we rolled towards it all night. Some sort of awful banging, slamming, thumping noise was coming from above us from 330-830am despite a call to the desk to report it. 830-930am could hear the music from the room across the hall - it was so loud I could actually make out the words...not just hear the noise...and when I opened our door to try to figure out where the racket was coming from, the male guest in that room was just going back in...letting out a huge whiff of Colorados Newly Legal Finest in the process. Breakfast...I ordered the French toast. It was dry, hard, and cold. So they brought me more. It was dry, hard, and cold. I asked the server to touch it to see that I wasn't exaggerating...needless to say I declined his offer to bring me a third order. We give every establishment three chances to impress us...HT has failed.

OK stayPosted 11-Feb-2014
Pros: bathroom, deep tub and separate shower
Cons: arrival gift, more willing to accommodate without more fees
Location: Good location. Drivers will take you anywhere.
Booked Expedia and called to request (make sure) we had two beds. Hotel wants a $60 up charge. Excessive. The stay was nice. Bed overly firm. Bathrooms are the best! Only reason I would come back. There isn't any welcome gifts...beer.....chocolate....anything. So to me, basic stay with helpful staff if you need anything. Not seeing 4.5 stars.

Style and comfortPosted 27-Jan-2014
Pros: The presence of a bath!
Cons: Antibacterial wipes in the exercise room.
This hotel is well situated and very comfortable for those travelling for business as I was. It has a unique feel with its arty nature and excellent cuisine.

Boutique hotel in downtown DenverPosted 24-Jan-2014
Pros: Location was great. Restaurant staff was great.
Cons: Train the front desk people in instances like this. I would think management would want people to walk away happy.
Location: Did not really have time to walk around
I had no heat in the room. When telling the front desk all they said was 'sorry'.

Great old building, well kept, and nice décor. Great location and both restaurants in hotel are very nice.
