A gem

Posted 17-Oct-2014
Pros: The hotel is a nice size - not one of those gargantuan complexes with hundreds of rooms and thousands of guests. Grat value for this class of hotel.
Location: Great downtown location, just around the corner from the pedestrian mall. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.
We were in Colorado for a family riding vacation at a ranch about 2 hours west of Denver and stayed at the Hotel Teatro on our way back home. It was great to be able to walk to restaurants and to relax in luxury after a week of riding 6 hours a day. The hotel met all our expectations. We'll definitely stay there again when we're next in Denver.

Nice downtown hotel

Posted 7-Oct-2014
Pros: Hotel staff is very nice and helpful.
Cons: hot water needs to be hotter. TV system needs to be gutted and a new system put in.
Location: Right downtown. Very nice location.
Nice downtown denver hotel that is nice to everything. I've stayed here a few times and enjoyed it every time. Same nit picks as before: The TV system doesn't work very well. Mine stopped working on the last night. It's a product of the wacky control system they use. The other nit pick is the shower/tub water temperature: it's not nearly hot enough (luke warm at best). Very hard to get a hot shower.

Great hotel and location

One night stay in Denver to watch broncos vs colts, amazing game go broncos. Service was the best I've had on our vacation of North America. So friendly, politie and helpful. Hotel looks amazing, room was great, all in all was an awesome place to stay. Would've loved to stay longer.

Its ok.

The TV in the room was small. The bath tub, when filled had crap floating in it from other people who had bathed in the room before our stay. I think this is because the drain was clogged and not fixed, the tub took over an hour to empty out once it had been filled, of course it would be impossible to clean. The staff was friendly. We needed an early check in and while no rooms were available for the room we booked so we had to pay about $50 to get an upgraded room, meaning 2 queen sized beds instead of one king but I had an important meeting and it was nice to be able to get into a room earlier than 3pm so I could shower before the meeting. I like to order room service in a room and their all day menu was a little lacking. We got "pickles" (a glass jar of 2 baby carrots, 2 skinny weird radishes, and 3 cocktail onions), and , a short glass of orange juice and a bottle of watermelon juice delivered for $30. The meals at the four seasons across the street were better for about the same price and more satisfying and tasty. The drink I got "strawberry basil martini" before leaving the hotel should have been named "kerosene". It was as thick as cough syrup but tasted like...something died. Its smell was sweet which is why it was deceiving to have it taste so awful. It was very bad. We were ready to leave for about 30 minutes before we were able to tab out, the barista was missing, and finally appeared when we were trying to pay for our drink at the front desk.

Great location and amazing customer service

It was right in the heart of Denver and close to many restaurants and shopping. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.
