Nice hotel, well located.

Posted 1-Apr-2014
Pros: Location. Lovely rooms, entry and lobby "living room."
Cons: Lighting both in the room and bathroom is very POOR. This could be easily improved.
Location: Denver's fine arts center, excellent restaurants and shopping.
The hotel is quite elegant in a lovely, understated way. Both its intimacy, location and friendly staff which is always eager to help draw us back time after time.

Easy access to downtown

Posted 20-Mar-2014
Located across from the Convention Center and the Four Seasons. Easy walk to many restaurants. Only unfortunate part of my stay was that a 16' x 16' portion of the street was dug out with a jackhammer on Saturday morning while I was trying to get some much needed rest. Of course, Hotel Teatro had no control over this unfortunate event. Otherwise, the rooms are well appointed and quiet from internal guest noise.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff.

Pros: Everything
There was no record of our expedia reservation. Instead of it being a fiasco they upgraded us to a wonderful suite. Excellent customer service even for our two labs!

French Boutique Flare!

Posted 19-Mar-2014
Cons: Regular Tv channels
The hotel and staff were amazing. Everything and anything you could have needed was provided. At first I thought the rooms were a little small. But after being in the room and seeing how carefully crafted the spaces were, I was able to see the attention to the quality and not quantity. Less truly is more.

Not worth the money

Posted 17-Feb-2014
Pros: Polite staff
Cons: See detailed review
This was our third visit. First was full of issues...no wifi, no cable. The second was perfect. But this time..not good. No upgrade offered or granted when requested even though the hotel was not full. Room was not much larger than our walk in closet at home. The mattress was collapsed in the middle so,we rolled towards it all night. Some sort of awful banging, slamming, thumping noise was coming from above us from 330-830am despite a call to the desk to report it. 830-930am could hear the music from the room across the hall - it was so loud I could actually make out the words...not just hear the noise...and when I opened our door to try to figure out where the racket was coming from, the male guest in that room was just going back in...letting out a huge whiff of Colorados Newly Legal Finest in the process. Breakfast...I ordered the French toast. It was dry, hard, and cold. So they brought me more. It was dry, hard, and cold. I asked the server to touch it to see that I wasn't exaggerating...needless to say I declined his offer to bring me a third order. We give every establishment three chances to impress us...HT has failed.

OK stay

Posted 11-Feb-2014
Pros: bathroom, deep tub and separate shower
Cons: arrival gift, more willing to accommodate without more fees
Location: Good location. Drivers will take you anywhere.
Booked Expedia and called to request (make sure) we had two beds. Hotel wants a $60 up charge. Excessive. The stay was nice. Bed overly firm. Bathrooms are the best! Only reason I would come back. There isn't any welcome gifts...beer.....chocolate....anything. So to me, basic stay with helpful staff if you need anything. Not seeing 4.5 stars.
