Comfortable with an indoor pool

Posted 11-Nov-2014
Pros: pool, comfortable, breakfast
Cons: check the doors and rehang or replace the ones that are broken. Fix the spa.
Location: Location is excellent. Right off 36 and you can get on most highways easily (you cannot get on I76)
We were given our room and it smelled like cigarettes, so we called the front desk and he said "but it costs $200 if you smoke!" Well we weren't the ones smoking, so he upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite (which was very nice). The hotel is old and needs some serious renovation though. Our door had a hard time opening and you could see it was coming off the hinges. We also had a hard time closing the door because it was barely hung. We were there 4 nights. The maid service was excellent, the pool clean (dated, but clean). The spa wasn't open but it also didn't look like anyone even cared to fix whatever problem it had. Breakfast was actually pretty good and the ladies who ran that section did a fantastic job in keeping everything stocked.

Nice, clean hotel. Very quiet. Good breakfast. Was able to sleep without earplugs. Plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby. Only a minute off highway.

Loud as can be.

Posted 27-Oct-2014
Pros: TV channel selection was very good.
Cons: Pretty much everything could stand an improvement here.
Location: Not a whole lot to do in Denver - especially Westminster.
I stayed in this hotel for a total of 11 days. I booked this hotel because of the competitive pricing, but I should have spent a little bit more for a better hotel. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything that your neighbor is doing. On both side, and above and below! My room was right above the "fitness center" as well, so I was disturbed by loud banging of weights all evening long - many times even past the posted closing hours of the "fitness center". Also, the hotel is right across the street from the freeway and about half a block away from a railroad. The train would pass by all day and all night long - even at 2 in the morning - blasting it's horn. The vibrations from the track were so strong I could feel the rumble from my hotel room. This would last for at least 5 minutes while the train passed.... Terrible. The staff was friendly and tried to help, but what could they do? Just a very cheaply built hotel. The hallways and stairwells were very dirty. The room was acceptable and fairly clean. The toilet looked dirty at first, but it was just very worn. Needs to be replaced.

It is a bit out of the way and they do not provide any shuttle service. The hotel itself was good

Just okay

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Remove the stains and get some better windows on the side of highway 36.
The room had stains on the floor and the bed, you could hear traffic off 36 and the breakfast was just okay. Good in a pinch but would not recommend this hotel.

Does not match description on the internet.

Posted 30-Sep-2014
Pros: Courteous and helpful staff.
Cons: Update the internet description. Make sure the facility is secure.
The hotel did not have the roll-away beds that are mentioned on the internet, making our sleeping arrangements difficult. They also came into the room and cleaned when we hung the DO NOT DISTURB sign up. Our room keys were EASILY deactivated, and the outside door next to our room was not secure. It would not lock, and anyone off the street could enter. The only redeeming qualities were the courteous staff, free breakfast and NO BED BUGS.

Great Hotel and Centrally Located

Posted 24-Sep-2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendly staff.
Cons: Pool area dated and seemed a little dingy.
Location: Shopping, restaurants, Boulder Turnpike,
The hotel is easy to find--just off Boulder Turnpike, 88th Ave. and Sheridan Blvd in Westminster. Clean, quiet rooms. All staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good---sizzle platters varied each day: omelettes with bacon; biscuits & gravy; scrambled eggs and sausage, etc. Breakfast room clean and attendant conscientiously kept all food choices well-stocked. Since guest printer wasn't working, desk clerk cheerfully offered to print-out my document. Room cleaned daily around 9:00 a.m.

Staff was fine. Continental breakfast was fine. Location was close to major high way. We could have yet did not have a chance to use the indoor pool. The cleaning crew was not reliable. Bed was not changed even instructed to. Mold in the bathroom. Bath tub was not cleaned at all, hair were still in the tub. Hair dryer not working and not replaced even when requested.

staff

Posted 18-Sep-2014
Pros: clean, mostly courteous staff , breakfast
Cons: staff review
Location: many stores and restaurants nearby, zoo not far, amusement park, car rental co.
we checked in, and asked the desk manager if we could park our RV on the lot , no problem, she said. 3 days later another desk manager confronts us and says they have bee getting complaints about it sitting there. she then says they have been trying to get ahold of me to move it. no missed calls on my cell, no blinking light on the room phone.we have to move it out to the strreet for our final night stay. we weren't taking up the lot, there were many open parking spaces. when we checked out there was another desk manager on duty and we asked her about the complaints. " We haven't gotten any complaints about your RV . " she tells us. That Wednesday night desk clerk was just being a b#*&^ , and pushing her authority. If we had to deal with her again , we would go elsewhere.
