“Great Hotel in Gurgaon”
If you need a hotel in Gurgaon, you can't go wrong with the Trident Gurgaon. The Trident is adjacent to its sister hotel, the Oberoi Gurgaon. The service, food and cleanliness of each of those hotels is top notch. In addition, the Trident has a small but excellent health club and a nice pool, all in a secluded setting. You'll forget that you're in a busy part of the New Delhi area. The hotel is about a 10 minute (or less) ride from DEL airport. You'll enjoy staying at this stunning hotel.
“An oasis in the middle of a busy city”
This was my last stay at the end of a 2 week journey in India. While geared toward the business traveller, the Trident felt more like a 5 star resort. If travels take me back to this area, it will be my first choice.
“Perfect for a forced layover with time for dinner”
The Trident Gurgaon is a luxury hotel in every sense. Impeccable service, comfortable rooms, lovely atmosphere, fine dining. And it is set up as a world unto itself--largely because it is not near anything else you want to do in Delhi (unless you have work nearby). It is very close to the airport, though, so perfect if you are flying in one afternoon and out the next morning.
“Peaceful and breathtaking.”
On entering the hotel, the reflecting pool is breathtaking. The property is beautifully designed and maintained. The staff is gracious, friendly, and helpful. The location of this hotel makes it perfect for business travel but it's nearly an hour to the middle of Delhi and so not an easy trip to the central markets and sights like India Gate. I was more interested in a relaxing spa experience and the Trident was perfect for that. Yoga in the morning, walking around the grounds, swimming, eating great food. A drink at the bar. One or two trips into central and south Delhi (Lotus Temple, Spice Market) were enough to add some spice to the trip. You are a bit isolated in terms of location. Some hotels are attached to a mall and you can go easily to shops or theaters. The Trident is a 15 minute walk to the nearest shopping area across a busy highway -- doable but a bit of a chore. A short cab ride is easier.
“Service in India at its best”
A very popular hotel due to its excellency in service. Difficult to find available rooms can be concidered to be the back side.
