We try to be as transparent as possible and it is noted on the booking site. We are also disappointed that your overall stay wasn't the best it could be. We have tub drain stopper available upon request. If our guests are missing anything from the room, we have additional household items upon request. We also apologize that the table was not fixed in a timely manner. As we stated in the morning when you came to the office, we were installing new furniture and our maintenance team would address the table as soon as they could. As we are making updates to the rooms, and fixing up our pool area, we hope you allow us to try again in the future. We have been a family favorite for generations and we hope to become part of your family tradition as well!

The payment for the room at Ocean Court was applied to your room at Boardwalk Inn, so no refund was necessary and you did not lose the cost of your room. Like most hotels in the area, Boardwalk also takes 150.00 incidentals authorization as a security measure, which has already been voided once you checked out. Even though Ocean Court is known for having clean and quaint rooms, we are glad you enjoyed your stay at Boardwalk Inn and we are looking forward completing our renovations at Ocean Court.

Although our pool closure is notated on Expedia, our website and other reviews, we do offer our guests the chance to use our sister property’s facilities. Hi Krystal, we are saddened to hear your stay with us did not meet expectations and that you did not enjoy our new mattresses.All our guests are required to provide 150.00 for incidentals. We do this as a security measure to ensure our guests do not smoke in the rooms and prevent room damage and extra cleaning fees (pets, etc.). However the 150 incidental authorization is voided and returned to you once the room is inspected. Unfortunately, Hurricane Ian in September 2022 and Nicole in November 2022 devastated the Daytona Beach Shores area and many properties are still recovering. The pool closure is noted on our direct website, and our 3rd party websites are also notified of the closure. I am sorry to hear this was not communicated to you through the 3rd party prior to your arrival. We try our best to ensure our guests are aware of the situation here at Ocean Court. We strive for clean, comfortable and cozy accommodations at Ocean Court, along with excellent customer service, and hope you allow us to try again in the future.
