The staff could not have been more friendly! The restaurant on the property is fabulous! Very quaint and made you feel right at home with 5-star cuisine!!!

Room was filthy. Shower had not been cleaned. Multiple used soap bars in the shower. There was 14 bullet holes leading from inside of room. None of the holes were patched and the door had 7 holes in it alone with obvious signs of forced entry. Deadbolt didn't work either. When brought to attention the office staff acted like they knew nothing about it. Definitely won't return. Worst hotel we've ever stayed in.

This property is old and rundown. The deadbolt on the door did not work. Everything is aging, there was a rusted wall lamp on the wall by the bed.

Very disappointed there was crumbs on my bed. There were roaches in in my room the front guy was very disrespectful. The only thing they have going for them is to wake up to the sunrise.

This was filthy. There with were people doing hard drugs in the paring lot and courtyard, dirty laundry tossed over railings and patios furishings. We did not stay here, and are having to fight with Experida and the CC company to get a refund. AVOID THIS DIVE

The property was dirty, the pool had been closed off, advertised a restaurant but there was no restaurant available. The pictures on the website did not match what the room was! There was no mirror in the bathroom or toilet paper holder. The toilet paper was on the back of the toilet. There was barely room to walk around the bed. The bed was terribly hard. The room did not justify $148. We will not stay there again.

Room was nasty,carpet had stains and turned my feet black, black mold in the shower floor,peeling wallpaper,no blinds on the windows, when I checked in they charged my credit card an extra 100.00 for a "room upgrade" which was way worse than the other rooms, I wanted to leave and they told me "no refunds", and every other guest I talked to had problems with the people in the office....the health department needs to pay them a visit....

Right on the Ocean. Food was good.But the room was differently way under rated. Tv had no remote and my wife was told he's legs were tired of walki. Had to go to the store and buy sprayand cleaning Room smells like piss

Overall very poorly maintained - windows broken on property and taped with blue painters tape, room door did not close all the way, sheets on bed are thin and basically useless, mirror missing from bathroom. Room was barely big enough to fit one queen bed. Room felt creepy and trashy.

Room floor was gross (felt like grease). Outside needed paint. Door was ugly and didn't even shut all the way. TV internet was awful. Hair dryer didn't work. Only 3 pillows for a king bed and they where all flat. Bed was hard. Sheet on bed was on outside and rough blanket was underneath. Had to switch them. Several outlets didn't work. No place to plug in microwave unless you carried it over to the table, Light on wall by bed looked like it was going to fall off the wall. Had to use my phone to call to get someone to come and check us in. Only good thing: hot water

The motel needs updating it’s very dated with rusted bathroom faucets. The location is awesome right across the street from the beach and there are a lot of restaurants and bars and shops within walking distance. We arrived around 9 pm and only booked for one night because we were leaving for a cruise the following day.

This property is an absolute dump!! I literally left even though i paid a extra night do to the strong mold odors, my son couldn't even sleep coughing all night , the property is poorly maintained honestly i feel that expedia should have more flexible conditions when they add a property like this on their list with a non refundable payment, i feel that i got ripped off.

It’s not like the property photos shown. The bathroom was dirty. No smoke detector. The kitchen was an area I would not even consider using. You had to enter the room behind the building. This felt a bit unsafe. The bed was comfortable but only had a sheet and it was chilly. I’m not sure if the AC unit had heat because it made a terrible loud noise. It was across from the beach which was the reason for the stay.

The mansion has to be respected . Modern amenities have been added with a mindful care as to preserve the historical features of the building. The room was decorated and equipped as expected. There was a need for a good floor sweep. The double doors facing the ocean do not close tightly and I believe dust and some dirt does get past and into the room. Fixing these doors will help a lot. The manager was busy but helpful when needed. The only surprise was that the telephone was not working , so no dial tone and connection to the front desk. I think If you are running any hotel accomodation, the bare minimum room equipment should be the telephone. Overall , the hotel has been cared for and freshly painted. If you like antiques and history, the entire building shows and displays many historical artifacts . It should be noted that the mansion built around 1925 by - Dana F. Fuquay, the 13th architect to be licensed in Florida,

My room door didn’t slam lock. My key didn’t work when I arrived. The floors were horrible and quick to get dirty. The bathroom still had people’s hair in it. They had roaches. The linen was stained. Got to do a little better for $100 a night.

Close to beach. Bed comfortable. Tub and bathroom sink looked new. Paint peeling off walls. We had rain and could hear it running inside walls. No daily housekeeping. No ice machine even though ice bucket provided. No security chain for door. Room however very clean. Would stay for a night or two again if in area due to price point. Front desk staff not friendly.

Horrible, just horrible
Being at this was an inexpensive hotel, I was managing my expectations. They still managed to go far below them. As you can see by the pictures, there was a light fixture missing from the wall with bare wire sticking out, lots of dirt on the ceiling fan which cascaded on us as we turned it on. Out of the eight plugs in the room, only three worked. The air conditioner was so loud that you could not watch TV with it on. There's a bit of false advertising here as well. A queen size bed measures 60 in wide, and I booked a single queen. At first he tried to put me into a room with two full size beds, not Queens even though he called them Queens, but full size beds. He then stuck us in a second room at which point I was just like screw it it's only a $64 a night room what am I really expecting. The next morning I measured my bed, it was 54 in wide, that is 6 in less than a queen size therefore it is a full size bed although it's advertised as a queen size. The tub shower combo was just a shower. The pool was advertised as being open 24 hours, but there are no working lights which is a health code violation. Also I found a few light fixtures missing around the property with exposed wiring. And right outside my room was an emergency light that judging by the rust had been out for quite some time, especially considering they have not made that particular emergency light in about 3 years. I will be contacting the fire chief and the health department
