if you are looking for an inexpensive hotel right on the beach this is the one. the location was very convenient. the staff was helpful. although you could tell the building and appliances were older, the room was clean. i enjoyed my stay at the hotel and will stay there again.

For a quick stay this is a great place. Don't expect 4 star service or accomodations but for a 1 or 2 night stay on the cheap this is an o.k. place to do it. If you plan on staying longer and expect a fancy room this is not the place. You are also walking distance away from good food at Oceanwalk and the pier.Location is great!! Catch some quick zzzz's and hit the road.

It's an OK place for the amount we paid. It's very close to the Boardwalk and Pier.

“Average”

Considering the Hotel location, I would say everything was average considering cost and quality. One shock was the AC unit. This is not your typical Freon type of unit. It is only cold water running through fins and a fan blowing air across them. It was affective at cooling the room but not removing the humidity. Walk to beach was nice and short.....that was a plus.

Good hotel if you are on a budget , right on the beach and you can walk to numerous night spots and dining. But remember it is not a four star hotel.

“Even if you want the cheapest spring break ever, DON'T STAY HERE.”

We stayed here for spring break '10, we were looking for a cheap hotel in a good location.We got what we payed for.I am not picky about hotels & was not expecting the Hilton, in any way. The carpet was disgusting, the shower faucet was literally falling out of the wall, everything was broken in the room including the plugs, balcony door, and railing was almost rusting off our 3rd floor balcony.Also, they did not have ANY room ready until about 4 o'clock and we waited in the parking lot for 2 and a half hours before we could even start the check in process.Then we went in the lobby to find a line of about 20 people waiting to check in.After standing there for another hour since they only had one person working during spring break week,we finally got to the counter only to get our room keys & go to our room to find that they had given us a courtside room instead of an oceanview like we payed for.We went back to the counter &waited in line again to hear that they had gotten our reservation as a courtside room &if I could provide proof that it wasn't then we could have the room we payed for. I payed $5 to use wifi for a day since they don't provide it&I showed them that we did pay for an oceanview room. It was about a 4 hour check in process & the day was wasted. I guess I didn't know that it was my job to prove to a hotel that I had made reservations & that I was supposed to look them up myself, thought that was their job. Don’t stay here. Literally worst hotel in Daytona Beach.

“Cheap and NASTY!!!!”

This motel should have been torn down decades ago! The condition of the building was frightening. Our particular room wouldn't lock, the wood in the door jam was dug out....that's a feel good in a shady neighborhood ;-( The stained carpet and moldy air conditioner also added a nice touch to this trashy place. The service at the front desk was actually pretty good, well they were pleasant anyway.

“Not Impressed”

I didn't expect the absolute best based on the price but there were holes in the wall, mold on the AC unit, the halls smelled like urine. Not satisfied at all.
