"Lovely reception area and staff was very nice and helpful. Room was dated but we had a very comfortable stay and didn't mind for the price paid. Large quadruple room with 2 twin beds in an upstairs loft. Clean bathroom. The location was perfect for us. Took the tube direct from Heathrow to Gloucester Rd station. Short 5 min walk to hotel from station. Gloucester Rd station had direct tube lines to the main sights so very convenient. Would definitely stay here again."

"We were so well taken care of and even got an anniversary cake in our upgraded room! Frustrated by the overcrowded lifts, but eventually found the staircase!"

"First of all, the hotel had the most beautiful lobby ever! The rooms were nice, with great bathtubs and good beds, but were on the small side (which is often the case in Europe). The location was excellent and so convenient, although it was quite congested. The associated restaurant, The Soak, was very good, too, especially waiters Joban and Alfred."

"Location, location, location. Very convenient right next to Hyde park. Access to transportation was excellent. Staff was helpful and accomodating. "
