Great hotel for it's location in Central Amsterdam. Walking distance to & from the train station(about a 10-15 min walk), to all canals,Dam Square right across the street, Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank House museums are a little farther walk. Lots of restaurant & food options close by.
Hotel staff was very good.Hotel was well kept. Only dislike was our room window was directly across & very close to H&M's stair case windows so anyone walking down the stairs could see us.Had to keep the shades closed. At one point a sales person & I waved to one another!
Very welcoming and going out of their way to have excellent experience. Perfect location. Big rooms and excellent amenities. Would go back to the same hotel for sure. Very clean, free welcome drinks and chocolate. Quiet rooms. Clean restrooms. Good location and neighborhood. A a a a a a a a a a a a a a a ababs
"hotel very handy for city, within walking distance"
Hotel complementary services very welcome, pool etc but also the mini bar which meant we didn't have to worry about keeping fluids topped up.As I was accompanied by my teenage granddaughter , the leisure facilities enabled us to relax and have fun afetr being out all day.The bedroom was very comfortable and toiletery items plentiful. All in all the hotel made out stay feel more luxurious and we looked forward to returning at the end of the day.
Stayed in a suite which is located at rear on a canal. Location was great, room was very tired and poorly serviced. To their credit they gave us money off due to poor room upkeep. Suites have plenty of room, just very tired. Location was great though, right in the heart of the city.
"Trendy hotel right across from the train station"
This is a surprisingly modern and stylish hotel, that even has an art gallery in it! The rooms are great and the staff is friendly and helpful. I just have a few minor quibbles. My room looked out at the outside of the hotel next door, maybe 20 feet away. Also the hotel staff was quite intrusive, entering the room for several different reasons, including regular maid service (OK), turn down service (annoying) and minibar checks (separate from the maid service, annoying). I would prefer to be interrupted less often.
The bustling heart of Amsterdam, this district attracts hordes of visitors teeming from Centraal Station to Dam Square and its beautiful Nieuwe Kerk (14th-century). The oldest part of town, Oude Zijde, is famous for its Red Light District, but the University and the docks bring a different kind of colour and buzz to the narrow streets. Don't miss the Oude Kerk, the Amstelkring Museum or the paintings in the Amsterdam Museum.
