Hyatt Place in North Dallas has dropped the traditional lobby and front desk in favor of a contemporary open area called the Gallery, with a check-in kiosk and the expertise of a host, who is available to help with check-in, guest tours, and even food preparation, 24 hours a day. The Gallery area houses the Bakery Café, which includes a coffee and wine bar and a 24-hour touch-screen kiosk for ordering freshly prepared hot and cold items; guests pay by swiping either room key or credit card. A self-help case of baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and drinks is also available 24 hours; a complimentary hot breakfast with Starbucks coffee is served each morning. Among complimentary amenities are use of the TV room with its 27-inch flat-panel screen and seating for four, use of a computer with high-speed Internet access and a printer, all in the Gallery area; an area shuttle, which will transport guests within 5 miles of the hotel and hotel-wide wireless Internet access. The hotel's fitness facilities are open 24-hours. Business amenities include 3 conference rooms (1600 square feet of space) and banquet facilities.
Pet Policy: For guest staying 1-6 nights, a $75 non-refundable pet fee will be administered.
