Tout était très moyen ,accueil ,propreté . Le petit déjeuné n 'est pas gérer par l hotel , c'est un Starbucks qui c'est implanté dans l'hôtel et qui vous fait payer un prix fou pour un petit déj vraiment pas des plus nutritif.. info .... il n'y a pas de lieux proche de cet hotel ou vous pouvez déjeuner. MALIN LE STRARBUCK!!!!

The elevators didn't work for two days and I have problems with my knees therefore was very hard for me to go up and down three times or more a day. I have been there before and everything was better. Staff was very nice, an food was great.

The property did great! Accommodated things as best as they could last minute. Expedia did TERRIBLE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. My reservation wasn’t there. They took over an hour to reach a compromise and solution when all of the extra run around was completely unnecessary. I don’t think I can book with Expedia!!! Not worth being held up until 11:30pm!

Room was pretty clean, beds were comfy. Breakfast was good. The pool was closed during our stay and there was issues with the elevators so we had to resort to using the stairs for the majority of our stay.

I made my reservation the day before I was supposed to check in. When I got to the property, I was told that they could not honor the reservation because for the past several days they had issues with the plumbing and we weren’t able to wash towels or sheets. They were not answering the phone either. Instead of not taking reservations when they knew they had problems, they booked mine anyway. When I asked the manager why I was not called that day to let me know, they could not on the reservation, he told me the owner was not allowing him call the guests. The manager told me he would take care of my refund through Expedia. I had booked a nonrefundable reservation, but I was not the one to cancel. The general manager did not do this. Expedia was kind enough to investigate my claim, and then they gave me the refund. All in all, this situation could have, and should have been avoided.

Booked a room with a couch so there was a place to sit. NO COUCH. The breakfast was the worst. I generally dont expect much but this was the worst. Windows and walls so thin you heard your neighbors and you might as well be sleeping in the highway the noise was so load. Bathrooms above looked like they had leaked to the ceiling was stained and sheetrock bowing down.

The people who work here are very nice. What i didnt like was my room looked very outdated and the carpet had a smell. What made me just want to leave was when i went for breakfast my first morning and the pancake machine didnt work and that was my main reason i wantes to stay there was for the breakfast. I could've paid $100 less and got a suit next door at Laquinta with a tv in front of the bed and one in the leaving area. I stayed at a few Holiday Inns and this one the worse. One of the elevators even bad. It opens the door very slow like its stuck or something. I wouldn't stay here again. Again the people who work there are nice and friendly. The hotel is just too outdated and cost too much for me

Under construction so the revamped areas are noticeable. The only issue I have is the deposit the clerk told me was $50, then it charged me $90, then took days to return it back.

Room had old gummies on the floor beside the bed. Water wouldn't get hotter than luke warm. Seen reviews that the pool was closed so i called and the man said it was open. The indoor pool was the only reason we picked that one and when we got t here it was closed. Was told room was non refundable so my 10 year old was not happy. No cable, you have to try and get wifi to work and then sign into your own netflix account (no thanks) and breakfast was very bland and salt and pepper didnt help.

If I could give it a zero I would. First of all, they gave us a room and the key didn't work. So I went and got another key. When we open the door to the room .there were people in bed and my grandchildren saw that. So trying to explain to a 11 and 12 year old what the people were doing in bed in the middle of the afternoon was very unpleasant. Next we booked the hotel because of an indoor pool and of course it was closed. I got charged $5 for free parking. There were stains all over the carpet and furniture . Next time I will go down the street to Hampton Inn and Suites instead of Holiday Inn express.

They let me use the luggage cart but it was very difficult to maneuver. The room was clean and spacious; the bed was very comfortable. My key card worked most of the time. The little refrigerator worked great. It would have been nice to have a bigger TV. The one big disappointment was that the indoor pool was closed. I love to swim and it put a damper on my stay.

We had an issue with a 'neighbor' and the front desk staff was helpful in moving us to another room, a larger room actually. It was missing a curtain but they came in 10 minutes to hang one. Above and beyond to make us feel accommodated.

Overpriced for the quality of place
Came in for run race. Not allowed to have an option for late check-out. If you are belligerent you get a late-checkout option. I lucked out and had a frig/micro/coffee setup. Most my running mates didn’t have a frig in their rooms. My window leaked after a rain and the carpet was soak by the window; they stated they didn’t know that was happening in the room. Pics show it’s been happening for a while Treadmill to do a “shake off” not working. AC doesn’t cool room down even turned to lowest setting

The carpet had stains on it. There was no hand soap. The maid said I had to use the body wash from the shower to wash my hands. Bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was ok, but pancake machine turned off. Staff was nice and acknowledged there were issues with the hotel. Convenient to the State Fair grounds.

Doors broken into as the locks died but they didnt fix the doors so you can look right through the crack between the door and the trim and see everything that was going on in those peoples rooms!! we had to switch rooms for times to finally get a room that didn’t have a crack in it! Also, one of the staff told us they had a problem with homeless people coming in and trying to break into rooms. The breakfast was OK. The toilet itself rocked back-and-forth like a rocking chair when you sat on it. Huge cracks in the wall like the place was going to fall down. Only one elevator worked we won’t be going back!

Our stay was very loud. Some street noise, but mostly other guests during the middle of the night yelling in the halls and being disrespectful of other people’s stay. Hotel only had one elevator because the other was out of service. Breakfast was terrible. Not even real eggs!! If you’re going to offer a hot breakfast, please don’t offer powder eggs. I’ve stayed at many different holiday inn express and had a much better experience. Lots of obvious patch repairs in the bathroom. Not well done at all

Watch your account afterward
The hotel itself was decent enough and close to Fair Park for our stay during the State Fair. However at check-in they take a $75 incidental fee which is normal but when I looked at my bank statement 2 Days Later there was not only the $75 pending incidental fee but also an additional $49.10 fee. When I called I was put on hold for over 19 minutes and in the background I was able to hear multiple people laughing and them checking other people in before I was finally hung up on. When I called back I was able to get a hold someone and he did not know why I was charged that amount but he said it looked like hotels.com had put a hold on my card which he was going to release. The next day I had a $124.10 fee that was pulled from my account. I called again and was told by Milton that he didn't know why it did that and it was scheduled to be removed from my account that evening. 6 days later they still have that extra $124.10 from my account with no explanation. There was nothing broken in the room no reason for them to take an incidental fee whatsoever. I have tried calling multiple times and the phone is either busy or it rings three times and then I'm hung up on.
