“A saturday at the Marriott downtown dallas, awesome”
the staff was polite, the valet was great, my only problem was that i wanted a hotel with apool and I thought when i booked i made it clear to the girl at expedia. I swear she said there was a pool. of course there was not, but thats not your fault. anyway we had a great time thanks
“Centrally-located downtown remodeled hotel.”
This hotel was great. We got a newly remodeled room. The only issues we had with the room was that since the area we were in was newly remodeled, the paint smell was a bit of a pain. And we didn't have a fridge, but we usually don't need one. The service was great and the room was so clean (cuz it was so new). I would definitely go back.
“Great accomodations”
The hotel was excellent and recently redecorated. The style is modern, clean and extremely comfortable. Would recommend others stay there. Just be aware there is a parking fee.
“Great stay for A-kon”
Excellent service, amazing staff, perfect location for A-kon goers. WAY better than the Sheraton.
“Very convenient”
Great location and hotel. The staff was great. I thought the furnishings were a little dated for a Westin but the bed was nice and room was clean. I did have some problems with hot water and the tub but I'm sure that was just isolated. The staff seemed to care about my concerns.
“Great place to stay”
Enjoyed the location and the amenities.
“Best hotel ever!”
Awesome hotel stay! The staff was very helpful!
“In Town for the Dallas Blues Concert”
We had a wonderful time in Dallas last weekend. Our stay at the Marriott was great. Our room overlooked an indoor ice skating rink! The breakfast that was purchased as part of our "room" package was delivered to our room on a separate "rolling" table that was placed between the two queen size beds for our convenience. The table setting was lovely!! Eggs, bacon, ham, muffins, hash brown potatoes, jam and coffee never tasted so good. We felt like royalty!
“Would stay again.”
We stayed over the NYE in Dallas. The Valet was helpful in pointing out a cheaper self park garage. Our room had a faulty shower switch. The repair man came within minuets of the call and the repair was done quickly. The garage rate changed from weekend to weekday, and the cost was as twice as high on the 2nd. We did not realize this, when we mentioned it to the front desk guy to warn people about the rate change he gave us the difference in the parking cost back to our bill when it was our fault not to read the sign. Great people.
“A nice place to stay”
We got in late and needed to eat. Everywhere seemed closed so we ordered room service for a late dinner. The food was good and service was prompt. Our eyes were bigger than our stomach and so we ordered way too much food. It would have been nice to be able to save some of the leftover food in a fridge. The room did not come with one, however there was a large space where it looks like one used to be. That would be the only complaint that I have. Oh and also there is not a fan in the bathroom, which seemed odd. It's nice to have a fan for noise as well as to clear out the heat from a shower. It is convenient that the hotel is close to a mall a food court. The hotel is a little under construction for a remodel but it looks like it will be really nice once they complete everything. The staff was very nice.
