“Pleasantly impressed”

Offering excellent value for a big comfortable room, very polite and helpful staff makes you feel welcome. Some might find the rooms facing the highway a bit noisy, but with a comfy big kink size bed should be easy to fall asleep.

The criteria for choosing this hotel were price and the availability of an airport shuttle. I was using the hotel for an overnight stop between flights, arriving around 9:00P and departing mid morning the next day. I arrived at D Terminal and discovered that it was necessary to use my cell to call the hotel for shuttle service. The courtesy phones weren't working. The shuttle arrived about 20 minutes later and the drive to the hotel was about fifteen to twenty minutes. The room was large and clean. The only irritation was the heating unit. It was noisy. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There are no food facilities at the hotel. I was offered several menus for off-site delivery. There is a hamburger joint,"Whataburger" attached to a convenience store forming part of the Shell station a three minute walk from the hotel along an unlit path. Breakfast, which is included, finishes at 8:30 A. The return shuttle, for which you must sign up for the night before runs hourly at five minutes past the hour and stops at other facilities en route the hotel. Give yourself time to clear security at the airport. Overall, I received what I expected but might try something else if I need to go this way again.
