"Wonderful Location for walking old Cusco"
e used this property as our home base while exploring other parts of Peru. Whether we were going hiking in the Sacred Valley or down to the rain forest the hotel kindly stored our extra luggage for us while we were gone, and we were always so happy to get back from roughing it to nice hot showers, clean white sheets, and smiling staff. In all we had 3 different stays with them over a month, and each time we came back thru Cusco it felt wonderful to come "Home" to the Casa Andina Private Collection.

"Comfortable room with perfect cleanliness"
The room I stayed was small but very clean and comfortable with simple and lovely design. Hotel staffs speak perfect English and are very friendly. They offered me to keep my luggage during my trip to Machu Picchu as well as gave me morning call at 4am. If you look for a comfortable room with reasonable price I'd recommend this.

"Feels like home to us!"
The hotel is very close to the center of the city, just 5 minutes walking distance so it was very convenient for us to explore Cusco. All the staff are very friendly, especially Elena and Noe. They went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable. They even helped us confirm our excursions and packed breakfast knowing that our trip to Machu Picchu was very early. They kept our room very clean and tidy. We highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay there again on our next visit!

"My favorite hotel in Peru"
I absolutely loved this little hostel, which is more a hotel. It was as if we were staying in a little charming museum, with historical artifacts all around us. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the style was modern and the decorations were beautiful. The staff was one of the friendliest I have ever met and the breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of foods.

"Hotel in Cusco."
This hotel was a great experience. You will not be disappointed. The hotel staff was excellent, rooms were very clean, the location was great (just two blocks from the Plaza de Armas). No shower issues...great water pressure and on demand hot water. Very romantic and rustic setting but with modern fixtures. The breakfast dinning area overlooking the the local neighborhood and mountain views were spectacular. The staff bent over backwards to make sure our stay was comfortable and met our needs. When I travel back to Cusco no doubt that I will be staying there once again. It's great to know that I won't have to search for a hotel in Cusco again. A great find for the budget minded. If your a light sleeper the walls might not be sound proof enough in case of a festival or loud people talking outside or possible room next door. We did not experience any of that so we slept soundly each night.

"Extremely Friendly Hotel"
We two couples stayed at this hotel for three nights and very impressed by the services provided by the hotel staffs. When they noticed my friend with high altitude sickness symptom, they voluntarily asked if she needed oxygen free of charge. They helped us with all the trip arrangement and price. In all, they just want to help you to every need. The room is spacious (Superior), clean, and oversee the dining area. Breakfast is pretty good, don't forget to try their Omelette. Location is within 10 minute walk to downtown (Mayor Plaza)

"A superior hotel experience"
We had a fantastic and memorable experience at the Belmond Monasterio. From the moment we arrived to beyond when we had departed, the Monasterio provided us with the best possible service and left us wishing we had spent more time there. Our trip got off to a bad start: due to misinformation from the airline, our luggage was left behind in Lima, so we only had the bags on our backs when we arrived. Monasterio was immediately attentive to our plight, took down all of our information, and told us they would contact some people to see what they could do. The airline told us that the earliest we would see our bags was 7pm the following day; somehow, we got a call the next morning from the hotel staff saying our bags would be arriving shortly, then a follow up when they arrived, followed by delivery to our room. Like magic. The second area where Monasterio stood out was in its concierge service. Not only did they help with dinner reservations, but they helped us arrange a driver to Poroy (train to Machu Picchu), stored our luggage while we were away, then made sure our luggage was with the driver when he picked us up on the return (since we were going to another hotel). I could go on and on, especially given how our second hotel in Cusco fell short. Bottom line: If you can manage it, stay at the Monasterio in Cusco. You will not regret spending a bit more...

"Nice hotel"
This hotel is great for the price you pay. Great location, a few blocks from the main plaza. Complimentary breakfast is great and rooms are great too. Staff was not very helpful and the wifi is the worst. They only allow to use obe device per room and the signal is horrible.. You have to reconnect every 2 minutes.
