Plazoleta De Limacpampa Chico - 473, Cusco - Map
"Very Nice >Hotel"
We stay 2 nights in Casa Andina Private Collection in Lima and 3 in Cusco and it is and excelent Hotel. I preferrer Lima. Everything in this Hotel was very good. The Concierge was very helpfull and they have private transportation from the Hotel. Very good food in the restaurant. The room was small, but the rest very nice. In Cusco the Hotel is bigger and beautiful, very nice paintings and internal patios. Rooms biggers but do not have a mini fridge in the room. You need a lot of water because of the altitude and they do no offer this service in the rooms. Not room service either. Very good breakfast buffet. They keep your luggage when you go to Machu Picchu.

We spent most of our time out of the Hotel because of all the sight seeing. When we were there the staff was very helpful and nice. It's a great location. Near a lot of places.

Pasaje Romeritos 402, Cusco - Map
"An historic jewel and exceptional staff"
This was a lucky find as we ventured back to Cusco one evening after visiting Machu Picchu. The rooms are large & lovely, situated around a tranquil open air courtyard, where you can opt to enjoy breakfast or relax and catch up on email. (We did both.) This historic hotel is on a small pedestrian street and has original thick adobe/stucco walls so there was virtually no city noise in the room or the courtyard even though you are across from the Plaza Santa Domingo and nearby Qorikancha. The staff were delightful and infinitely helpful as we had to recover a lost bag from the trip as well. Would definitely return.

Rumi Wasi

Calle Suecia No. 499, Cusco - Map
"Home away from home"
We used Rumi Wasi as a base when travelling, stayed here 3 times. We left our luggage with them when we went to Amazon for a week, then again when we did the Inca trail. We showed up to check in at odd hours and checked out at odd hours and every time we were accommodated - 4am check-in once and we got our room, 3:30am check out once and we offered breakfast. Staff always friendly and remembered us each time, would ask about the different trios we did. Loved knowing after each trip (especially after camping/hiking for a few days) there was a beautiful room, hit shower and amazing bed - we were given hot water bottles every night. Close to main square. Recommend Nuna Raymi restaurant for alpaca and cuy. Must also go to Tupananchis - daily ritual for us for fantastic coffee, fresh coca tea and delicious kebabs/skewers - giant comfortable lounges on balcony overlooking small square, next block over from main plaza

"My favorite hotel in Peru"
I absolutely loved this little hostel, which is more a hotel. It was as if we were staying in a little charming museum, with historical artifacts all around us. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the style was modern and the decorations were beautiful. The staff was one of the friendliest I have ever met and the breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of foods.

Very welcoming and convenient. They realize that the altitude is an issue and make you seat during check in, offer coca leaves tea and tell you what to avoid. Everyone seems committed to make you feel welcome.
