"Nice Place"
Had a 1 bedroom unit, it was really nice, but needed another tv in the bedroom. Stayed for 6 nights, only got service 1 time. But beside that everything was great. Will stay there again.

"Great hotel near the other resorts and dolphins!"
We had a great deal, $90/night. Our room overlooked the dolphin academy, which meant we get to watch the dolphins as much as we wanted from our room! This place is also right across from the rest of the resorts, which was great for shopping, resting, quick bites to eat, and for drinks. Normally we don't stay in resorts; we usually like being near areas that aren't so heavily touristed, but the deal was too good to pass up.

"Very lovely buildings and grounds."
We really enjoyed the lovely grounds and beautiful buildings. Having the museum on the same grounds was also very convenient. The staff was very helpful and friendly. All the wonderful and interesting sculptures around the property were very special. The pools were very soothing and done in a very natural way.

"Great Serene Natural Beauty"
We stayed in Garden view Rm 150, which was very nice because the deck was very private and full of local wildlife because we faced thick natural brush. The room is also one of the closest to the lobby/bar/beach. The resort is gorgeously natural and secluded with just enough beach for the guests (which was fine because there were few non-guest visitors since we were 45 minutes from Williamstaad). I was surprised that the bathroom was not airconditioned (but we dressed in the room so it wasn't a problem#. The food at the resort was good, but not inexpensive. There are few places nearby. We loved Sol Food #right up the street, but only open Fri, Sat Sun [get a reservation]) and didn't enjoy Jaanchies. Didn't get to try Rancho El Sobrino. Beachfront grill @ resort was nice, but is not every night. We didn't experience any of the slow food service others mentioned, but we ate @ 7 or 8. We didn't need beach shoes, but there is a lot of coral close to the beach. Snorkling is right off the beach to see 10-15 colorful fish and some live coral. Service was always good, but certain employees were terriffic. Hank is the man. Evenings were beautifully quiet.

"Wonderful hotel, great amenities, attentive staff"
We chose not to take the all inclusive option to give us more freedom to experience Curacao (which has an excellent array of restaurants) Staff were wonderful, fluent in 3-4 languages and always willing to help We're divers so it was great to have the Ocean Encounters company right on site (prices are steep especially if you're paying for equipment rental 50$/day but probably comparable to other companies on the island) - their staff was very attentive and the dive experiences were wonderful The hotel itself has a nice private beach and a beautiful pool area The food at the Bella Italia restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced (especially the pizzas!) Medi also had nice options but be prepared to pay at least 60$ pp with drinks (and up to 50$ pp for the bfast buffet!) Shor was an utter disappointment if you're not going as part of the all-inclusive option because the prices are steep and the food is mediocre at best with tiiiiny portions...so when you're paying full price, it's quite upsetting You absolutely need a car because the drive from the plantation gate to the hotel itself is about 15 minutes and the plantation is about 30-40mins from the city of Willemstad

"Beautiful Hotel with amazingly friendly staff"
What a wonderful experience. My husband and I were amazed with how welcoming and accomodating the staff was. The location was beautiful and we were so overjoyed that our room was only spteps away from the beach. The front desk and room service surprised me with a happy birthday cake as we arrived to our room. Chris, our waiter at the restaurant was so helpful about where to go and even taked to the Chef to make us our favorite meal that was only served on Thursdays as our last meal on a Tuesday! Delicious clams! We loved it so much that we will be back and recommend it to many of our friends!

    Curacao Hotel Guide

Are you ready to count clouds instead of worries in Curacao? The pastel buildings and sugary sands on this supreme island will leave little room in your mind for anything other than worldly pleasures. Curacao joins Aruba and Bonaire as part of the famous ABC islands in the Caribbean. Cultural hints of Holland and the Caribbean will make your visit to Curacao a truly international experience. The lemon-painted buildings and cobblestone paths of downtown Willemstad will delight you. Of course, you’ll also experience beaches galore during your stay on this magical island. If you’re curious about the best things to do on Curacao vacations, Expedia can show you the Caribbean’s best-kept secrets. We can even fill you in on the secret to getting cheap rates at the most desirable luxury hotels in Curacao.

    The Culture of Curacao

Slow and sweet is the only way to describe life here. The beach-filled landscape is full of lush cacti and palm trees. You’ll love stopping for a leisurely lunch at Curacao’s famous Old Market. Your tongue should be prepared to get situated with plenty of stews, seafood, and cactus soup. Dutch cheeses and chocolates are also prevalent on plates here. Of course, you can always satisfy your taste for luxury while shopping for duty-free diamonds, clothing, and pottery. Snorkeling, swimming, and surfing are also great ways to pass your time in paradise. Feeling thirsty for a little island trivia? Discovering that Curacao liqueur is distilled on the island may lift your spirits. This famous blue drink flows as freely as the emerald tides of the Caribbean Sea. Curious about how to talk your way around the island? Once you’ve found the best hotel in Curacao, keep in mind during check-in that Dutch, Papiamentu, and English are the official languages here.

    Lucky Weather in Curacao

The temperature on the island rarely strays more than a few degrees from 27 degrees Celsius. Strong trade winds off the coast of the island make it an ideal place for windsurfing.

    Cool Curacao Activities

The sheltered beaches on the island’s southwestern coast offer perfect conditions for swimming and sunbathing. Your biggest heartache may be deciding which of the 17 beaches to get lazy on. Things could get wild during your visits to the Curacao Sea Aquarium, the Curacao Zoo and Nature Preserve, and Dolphin Academy. When you see the moon rise over the palm trees, it’s time to head to the dozens of lounges and casinos near central Willemstad.
