“Stay and relax”
If you want to go on a vacction not to expencive and you want to relax, this hotel is very good. Not to crowded and not to fare from the beach. The rooms are clean, only the bathroom needs a air freshner. Because if somebody in a nother room went to the bathroom you can smell it in your bathroom. Overall for that rate the hotel was okay.
“Staying at Clarion”
We experienced difficulties at breakfast ( no bread) We suffered from excessive noice eventhough we speciffically asked for à quiet room Though THE staff was friendly we repeatedly got à yes I Will get you towels with no turn up. Everybody was friendly but i was under THE impression they couldn' t handly THE work or THE quest load.
“Btolani”
Would not reccomend anyone to stay there, rooms are horrible very old furniture and decor, had a small 19" color tv no plasma, hotel has central a/c which makes the whole hotel freezing cold, room was horrible freezing all the time and also had an a/c unit in each room. was supposed to be wifi through out the whole hotel but was not working and had to come to lobby to use internet. waited 6 hours for the gift shop to get a sim card so i could get a local number. staff was courtious and helpufull but other than that horrible experience, very dissapointed at this Clairon as other places have stayed and it was good.
“A Chilly Reception”
The Clarion Hotel looks fairly new and is nicely appointed. However, there are some aspects to this hotel that make it very uncomfortable. 1 - the AC - in my room it had four settings: loud, loud, loud and off. It had a thermostat, but as there was no "Auto" setting, it didn't seem to do anything. Either you froze, or you turned it off, and you slowly poached. 2 - the power outlets were of a style I have never seen before (I am not a rookie traveller), and while there were one or two in the US style, they were nowhere near the cable connection for the internet. So I could use the internet as long as my batteries lasted - then I had to pause and recharge. 3 - access to the beach - which is NOT private - is through a gate they keep locked, and seeing the arrangement, I lacked the confidence there would be anyone available to open it again when I wanted to come back. 4 - they have only a bakery that sells a few food and drink items, and the breakfast I had there was somewhat spartan too. Maybe things will improve as the area is further developed, but I will not be staying in this hotel again any time soon.
“Not quite the hotel from hell but getting there.”
If you like cold showers and poor internet then this is the place for you. The management tried to get the hot water working in my room for 5 days and had no success. I note that another traveller had the same problem. The internet is sporadic at best. Expect to waste a lot of time with it. The hallways are noisy at times. You can here what is being said in the room. The breakfast food included in the room rate and provided by the restaurant is just passable. The dinners provided by the restaurant that you pay for are good. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again.
“Horror hotel”
I would not even consider this hotel a 2 star. Since the opening, no maintenance whatsoever has been done on the premisses. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. I will never ever book this hotel again.
