“No frills, just comfort!”

All we needed for our 4-day stay in the LA area was a good place to sleep. This room was clean and had 2 king-sized beds! With the microwave and frig we were able to snack and have breakfast in our room. The restaurant was a real treat for our final morning! Yum!! I especially appreciated our secure, off-street parking. We would stay here again.

From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this hotel. The neighborhood is not particularly attractive, however, the hotel is very close to the freeway and I felt the neighborhood was safe. The staff at the hotel were very, very friendly, helpful and efficient. The entire hotel was very clean and well-kept. The layout was great. The scenery was not great. The hallways were clean and well-lit. Great parking. The room was immaculately clean and nice. Granite countertops, granite shower walls, very, very nice! All the amenities of a nice hotel. The room was immaculately clean; the bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious with a separate sitting area with comfortable sofa and chairs. The room was very quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again! The location is central and conveniently near the freeway. I had a great stay here! The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful, even at 5:30 a.m. when I checked out. There were a variety of eateries in the area, within walking distance. A top notch hotel! Kudos to the staff. By the way, I am a very picky person!

“Very surprisingly nice inside”

This was one of the nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in in a very long time. 2 king-sized beds, a couch/coffee table lounging-area, & a very nice new bathroom area, coupled with clean floors, new linens & carpet, & very convenient location/price. For the price, I've never had a nicer room... I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

“Interesting breakfast arrangement”

We hadn't expected a free breakfast with our stay at thie Travelodge, and were pleasantly surprised to be given coupons for $5 off a meal at the adjacent cafe. This was lovely, especially since one pancake meal there is enough food for two people! Great coffee spot, too, open early and late.

“Good hotel for getting around”

We were in LA for a wedding and not really there for "vacation" - mostly to see friends and family, so getting around was really important. By car (the only way to get around LA), the hotel was less than 10 minutes from the airport w/o traffic (great for early morning flights!), and also close to the beach towns (Venice, Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey). Hollywood and Beverly Hills 20 min b/c you can't take the hwy. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, the furniture and bed were comfortable, and the bathroom was well-appointed. Only problem was with our shower head (no pressure), so we had to change rooms on the second day. Free parking is a bonus (that's worth $20 a day in LA). Breakfast not exactly included (you get a $5 coupon for the diner downstairs, but everything costs $7 - $10. Food is good tho.). Neighbourhood also convenient for amenities - target and shopping mall are close by. We went elsewhere in town for restaraunts.
