“Great Stay”

We had reservations for one night but had car trouble and wound up staying two. Staff was very accomodating and good to deal with. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of hot water. Pool was nice too. Lots of places to eat nearby (within walking distance) including Cracker Barrel, Burger King, Subway, KFC, etc. Lights by bed didn't work. Tub was getting old and had been painted some places but was clean.

“Nice!”

The hotel staff was friendly and checked to see if our room was excellent. It exceeded our expectations for cleanliness, comfort and added conveniences. Expect the usual continental breakfast fare, but the folks serving it went out of their way to be helpful. Excellent management and friendly service made this hotel stand out.

“NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED”

We moved after the first night because of plumbing issues with the toilet, something housekeeping should have flagged to maintenance before putting guests in that room. It took one full minute, holding down the handle, to flush the toilet.

“Two problems with our stay”

We have stayed here in the past. this trip the room was very clean. There had been upgrades in the tile and bathroom. It was a good experience overall. There were two negatives. One very minor, the coffee cups in the room leaked through. One leaked when I filled it with coffee so I poured the coffee into a second cup. It leaked also. Again, minor. The second was the breakfast. The food was not good at all. The eggs were tasted like powdered eggs. the biscuits were very hard and the waffle batter has a sour taste. The food was a bad experience and I don't know if I would stay there again.

“No smoking room”

Make sure that you don't get a smoking room. I booked a non smoking room but was placed in a smoking room. We were not allowed to switch because they were completely booked that night. The room was so thick in smoke smell that it made us gag.
