All good re hotel ... except finding it. I THINK the literature warned GPS users against just using the Post Code rather than the full address. I reckon the warning could / should have made that bit of info clearer.
"Hotel staff were great after a blunder by Expedia!"
Booking 2 adults 2 children through expedia website, but arrived at hotel to find only a double bed!
I know I should have checked the expedia confirmation before proceeding, but I trusted that once my criteria details had been entered, I would be good to go through and proceed.
Having said that, hotel staff were very good and managed to sort us a spare bed bed and cot bed for the room.
I was given the family room as the last double had been taken. The room was very spacious, well decorated and welcoming and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom which was quite small although it was also nicely decorated and very clean. The hotel is a little off the beaten track as you have to drive to a housing estate to get to it but don't let that put you off. I also felt that for the price I paid, breakfast should have been included.

On arrival we were upgraded to stay in the main building. The room was on the ground floor, near the bar, but it was nice and quiet. Only one towel in the bathroom, but a stack in the wardrobe. There was also a kettle, but no tea or coffee.
