Property Amenities
The majority of amenities, activities, and gratuities at the Sabor Cozumel Resort and Spa are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for the majority of amenities and activities (scroll up to the All-Inclusive Details section for more information).
This Cozumel resort is divided in 2 different sections: the Sabor Garden Villa section with its rooms close to the beach, and the Sabor Exclusive section, with extra privileges for those who have booked this section. The Sabor Garden Villa section has 2 swimming pools: the freeform pool features games and the 100-foot long “relax” pool features a swim-up bar. Lapped by the Caribbean Sea, the beach runs 550 meters (600 yards), with palapas providing shade and hammocks for snoozing. Guests booked in Sabor Exclusive Section have access to an exclusive swimming pool, an extra restaurant, bar lounge, and swim-up bar.
A fitness center, open to all guests, contains cardio machines, a Universal gym, and free weights. Sabor Cozumel has the largest and most complete spa in Cozumel, the Islander Spa, which offers massage, body treatments, facials, hair braiding, waxing, and nail care, plus the spa's signature treatment, Aquatic Janzu Therapy, done in the ocean (surcharges for all spa treatments and services). Massage can also be arranged under an open-air thatched-roof palapa at the beach (surcharge) The spa is also open to the public.
Members of the resort's activities/entertainment staff lead daytime activities and competitions and present nightly shows. The staff is multilingual. The resort purifies its water. Computers with Internet access are available (surcharge).

The Sabor Cozumel Resort and Spa - All Inclusive offers 402 guestrooms in 27 villas of two- and three-stories (no elevators). All accommodations have air conditioning, ceiling fans, cable television, and phones. Standard rooms feature pastel-colored villas with pyramidal roofs (some thatched).
Accommodations are available in the Sabor Exclusive Club. These rooms include 500 square feet of space with sitting areas, flat-panel televisions, compact refrigerators, and glass walk-in showers. Guests staying in this section have access to a swimming pool with slides; Mosaique, an exclusive Asian-fusion restaurant; Cacao, a lounge; and Sabores, a swim-up bar.
Guests who booked in the Sabor Garden Villa section do not have access to the Exclusive club facilities.
All-Inclusive Details
This resort is all-inclusive. This means that onsite food and beverages are included in the room price (some restrictions may apply, for example, to premium food items or drinks; or to dining at specific restaurants). La Isla - Situated in the hotel main section, this causal restaurant offers international cuisine with buffet service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Roberto's - Located in the hotel main section. Offers an a la carte Italian menu, including Caesar salad, risotto with domestic wine. Advanced reservations required.
El Marinero - Snack bar on the beach in the hotel main section. Open for lunch and dinner and late-night cocktails. Casual fare.
Mosaique - This quaint restaurant is exclusively for guests booked in the Sabor Exclusive Section. It offers a la care dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This restaurant is adults only. Children are not allowed.
Bambu - Swim-up bar in the hotel main section, located in the relax pool.
Bar Azul - Air conditioned lounge located off the main lobby in the hotel main section. Cold beer, signature cocktails, and wine.
Sabores: Sleek, modern lounge with swim-up bar. Exclusively for Sabor Exclusive Club guests.
Cacao - Lounge bar located next to Mosaique. Exclusively for Sabor Exclusive Club guests.
Room Service is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the Sabor Exclusive section. This service is available only for customers who have booked a Sabor Islander or a Sabor Pool Terrace room.

Recreation
The majority of recreational activities and facilities described below are included in the room rate for this resort.
Sabor Cozumel Resort offers 2 swimming pools available to all guests. The freeform pool is the site of lively activities while a quieter pool in the shape of a figure 8 has a swim-up bar. A third pool is located in the Sabor Exclusive Club.
Guests are offered complimentary use of the tennis courts, snorkeling gear, kayaks, and windsurfers. Pool and outdoor aerobic sessions are also available for no charge. Other equipment including motorized water sports equipment such as banana boats can be rented (surcharges). The resort's dive shop includes a pool for scuba-diving lessons and conducts certification classes. It can arrange scuba and snorkeling excursions, and reef, wreck, cave, and night dives (surcharges for all instruction and excursions).
Guests can golf at the Cozumel Country Club at discounted green fees. The 18-hole, par-72 course features a practice range and practice green. It is 18 km (11 mi) away.

“Great Vacation”
This vacation exceeded any expectations I had. The resort was beautiful and the service was great. The hotel was clean, the food was good, and the ocean was fantastic! We upgraded to a Sabor Pool Terrace room which we really enjoyed. The pool and swim up bars were fun. I would go back in a second, we really had a wonderful time!

The Sabor section was awesome. Definately the way to go! Don't waste time or money on the non Sabor section.

They were in the middle of remodelling so we were upgraded to the members section. A few sections were closed but it really didn't make a difference. We really enjoyed it quite thoroughly.
“Great diving and relaxing hotel”
Don't beleive all the negative reviews you read, we did not and really enjoyed the hotel, the food was great and the staff is extremely friendly. Remember you get what you pay for, this is not a 5 star. It's clean, safe and how can you go wrong diving in Cozumel. We dove with Sanddollards sports, they are extremely friendly located on the hotel grounds. Your equipment is safe with them. Note bring water shoes for the beach, lots of sharp rocks. We stayed in the old section almost at the beach, nothing wrong with the room. If you want to go into town it will cost you 9 US dollars per person each way. If you don't use a travel agent you will need transport from the airport to the hotel, not a problem 12 miles and again 9$ p/person. We will return this is great for the price, it's small but offers all the same of a big noisy, busy hotel!
“Cozumel is Beautiful”
I think the worst thing was that the bartenders were rather unprofessional. They ran out of Coconut Rum on a daily basis and didn't bother to restock. Nor did they bother to inquire. Then they would run out of another liquor and this just went on and on with them. I prefer to drink the same drink and this was impossible. I think when you are an all inclusive resort those things are important.
“Awesome hotel!!!”
Awesome hotel!! Very low-key, very polite staff. Great amenities! The only problem was at check in, they informed me that my room was over booked. But they upgraded my room to a MUCH nicer suite at no extra charge!!! Great beach, bars, snack bars, and restaruants, and the snorkeling right at the resort was awesome!! We had a great time!!

No complaints, room and staff are wonderful. A family feel right from the start. The beach is a bit rocky because of the nature of the island but water shoes take care of that. There is a reef 100 yards right off the hotel but you have to dodge the boats to get to it. If the winds are right and the water isn't churned up, you can see nice fish right off the beach. It was our 4th time at the Wyndam and we will be going back. Love Cozumel!!

I can't say enough about how fabulous our vactation was. The rooms were very clean. The food was amazing! The service, from the housekeepers to the bartenders to the wait staff, was incredible! Raul and many other great staff served us an incredible meal the night before we left. Christian and Tomas kept us well hydrated at the bars. We traveled with a group of 12 people and everyone was very impressed and had a great time at this resort. My only complaint would be that the bracelet system used for this resort was very easy to loose and very expensive to replace. My husband and I chose to not wear out much of the time to avoid loosing them. The hotel did have evening shows and one lounge type bar with music, but not alot of night life. I can't wait to go back again.
