“nice stay as always”
We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and we have always been very pleased. As mentioned in allot of other reviews the food is on the expensive side. This is the first time we have gone to Chankanaab Park and participated in the dolphin discovery and we both really enjoy the experience and would definitely recommend. The only complaint I would have is when you first arrive they try to get you to go to a sales pitch and can be a little pushy.
“Presidente never disappoints!”
We've been staying at the Presidente since 2001 (I'm a keen scuba diver). As far as we are concerned, it is THE place to stay. Three reasons: 1. It's a beautiful, comfortable property featuring great food and superb service. 2. It's located about 15 minutes cab ride from downtown - which is ideal as the town gets crazy with all the cruise ships! 3. Scub Du - the island's best dive operator is located at the hotel on the beach. Their boats pick up at the hotel, and you are already 15 minutes closer to the great dive sites down the southern end of the island.
“Cozumel's best resort hotel.”
It is a fabulous property. Large, beautiful clean rooms, and the staff could not be more pleasant and helpful. The food for breakfast and lunch was very good, dinner was good. Lovely beach, nice pools, and plenty of lounge chairs in the sun and shade. Amenities were top notch. As nice as any luxury hotel in the US.
“Two Words... Outdoor shower!”
This hotel was amazing. It was exactly what we were looking for. 1. Amazing snorkeling 2. Dead Quiet 3. Beautiful Property 4. Excellent Service. The staff were excellent and the service was prompt and complete. Alfredo's restaurant had an excellent selection with great service. We would stay there over ANY hotel on the island. If you are looking for a quiet hotel, with excellent service and great snorkeling/scuba.. this is the hotel. This is NOT your typical music cranking constantly hounded, everyone get wasted all inclusive resort... in fact it is completely opposite. If you decide to stay make sure and ask for a room with an outdoor shower, not all rooms have this.
“Paradise”
Clearly an older hotel that has wonderfully renovated rooms ... the beachfront rooms have beautiful views. There is delicious food and plenty of sandy beaches.
“The Best Place in Cozumel!!”
We just recently got back from our second visit to President. Our first visit was on our honeymoon and we loved it so much we went back...with 5 of our friends. The service is impeccable - the staff is always friendly and the rooms are clean with beautiful views. The off shore snorkeling is wonderful but the diving with Scuba Du will make your trip! Beautiful diving and it is so convenient with the dive shop being right on site. Did I mention the beach? It has a wonderful white sand beach to walk around on that doesn't ever seem to get too hot. Walk on the beach, go snorkeling, then get out and rinse off with the many fresh water showers around the beach and you are in paradise. All 7 of us plan on going back soon...we love it there and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.
“Food Better than expected”
The food was superb and much better than I expected.
“Beautiful Resort”
This hotel was beautiful!!! I was impressed the moment we drove up. The only down side is the restaurants in the hotel are limited. Overall I would definitely vacation here again.
“Definitely Will Return”
We have a wonderful time on our vacation, and the only thing that could've made it better was less humidity and more snorkeling! The hotel was perfect, in a great area close to downtown, but not too close. The hotel had everything and more, with a beautiful cove to swin in and snorkeling right there with an abundance of fish. The hotel staff treated us like royalty the entire time we were there, offered great restaurant suggestions, and catered to our every need with respect and urgency. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an upscale, relaxing, and fun vacation. Of course we went during their off-season (end of August), so we were likely able to receive more attention than if you were to go during the high season.
“Cozumel's best”
Wonderful place to relax, excellent service, nice rooms, great views and onsite snorkeling. Will go back every year!
