“Excellent service, excellent price, close to Airport”

We stayed here 3 nights Friday to Sunday. On Sunday we drove 2 hours to Indianapolis to watch the INDY500 race. For my 25 year old son and me, it was one of the best weekends of our lives. We rally recommend this Hotel, it is clean, reasonable in price, conveniently close to Airport and the staff was extremely friendly. We felt at home.

The only thing I would critique would be the bathroom, a little cramped, other than that great for the money!

“Freezing”

Front desk staff took a personal call while I was checking in while a buddy was watching TV in the lobby area with the volume turned way up. This is a motel so the outer door to the room did not have good seal and as such the room was very cold. The heater took about 4 hours to warm up the room, but only after we piled extra bedding around the door to try and seal the door gaps. Just a thought here, but, if it is below freezing and you know you have guests checking in, it might be nice to have the heat turned on before the guest arrives so they come in to a warm room, especially given how poorly the door seals. Bathroom was clean, but old and showed signs of that. It just looked dirty. Pictures online made hotel look nice, but when you are there, it really shows its age.
