Nice little place, stayed for a murder mystery and upgraded my room. Room was nice, a little dated but does add character - beautiful gardens.

Thank you for your review, it's unfortunate to see that you gave us a 6/10 rating when according to our feedback you enjoyed the room and service had been great. However your grumble seem to have been with the taxi company which has nothing to do with the hotel. I'm sorry that the taxi company let you down and do hope you choose to stay with us again.

Won't be returning
Booked a double room - got a twin disabled room, so the shower was about chest height, making hair washing a pain. I went back to reception to tell them I had booked & paid for a double & the response was 'sorry, that's all we've got & we're fully booked, you can speak to the manager in the morning if you like' (the manager was not available in the morning!) They should not take bookings if they do not have the rooms that you pay for.

Went with a wedding party hotel beautiful set in lovely grounds staff very friendly restaurant staff very good and very friendly with my grandson rooms very clean and well equipped

It was a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Kids loved it and the room was so much bigger then thought it would be,would go again

It is a lovely looking hotel and we were looking forward to staying there as it is very convenient to an event in a village three miles away. However we were a bit disappointed as despite there being a picture of a spa/swimming pool on Google they do not have a pool or a gym and I expected there to be a pool. Also the rooms were very clean and the hallways repainted but a bit dated. There were no sockets near the bed, no air conditioning, a very hard bed and the room was very warm though cooled down when we opened the windows. The showers had poor flow rate and weren’t very warm. I don’t mind paying a premium for a room in such a lovely building but think it needs modernisation.

Unfortunately there are photo's on Google that shows we have one, however I can assure you these are posted by 3rd parties unrelated to the hotel. We are currently undergoing renovation and improvement plans for the hotel and hope you choose to stay with us again in the future to see the changes that we are making.

Room was really clean and spacious (extra thanks to v helpful cleaning staff!), with lovely grounds and location. Breakfast was ok but could have been better.

Very polite staff. Excellent double room with a large shower. Had dinner in the evening. Enjoyed the duck and red wine. Very indulgent cherry and chocolate moose too. Plenty of choice for breakfast. All in all an enjoyable stay. Would use again if I stay in the area again.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings. I booked family room which should have had double bed and 2 single beds for my kids. On arrival, we were given a room with one double bed and a baby cot eventhough my younger child is 13. I have discussed with reception. The guy was super nice and understanding, however we weren't offered another room or extra bed. All 3 of us shared the bed so a bit tight considering the choice of hotel In the morning we went for breakfast just after 7am only to discover that breakfast is not served till 8am. I cant fault the lady in the morning as she has seated us straight away and was very attentive. She allowed us to have continental breakfast and didn't turn us away for which I was very grateful. I didn't want to ruin a nice weekend away but definitely could have been better. A bit disappointed If any family is thinking of staying there, I would recommend a call beforehand to make sure you got the right beds.

Lovely stay.
Lovely stay, very nice surroundings, excellent breakfast. Staff very friendly. This is not the first time we've stayed at Ansty and it's always our first choice when we're in the Coventry, Birmingham area. We'll be back.

Good but a bit of a walk
Generally very comfortable and quite. Breakfast was very pleasant with a good range of options. Check-in was disappointing. We walked from car park to reception. Were then told room was in annex, so had to take luggage back out past the car to the annex. Room however was great and spacious only let down by not having any milk to go in the morning tea.
