Loved this hotel. Comfortable room with king size bed and little outdoor seating area. They have a great swimming pool and a big indoor hot tub we really enjoyed! There is also a wonderful bar area with outdoor seating overlooking the pretty river with boats parked or going by. So picturesque! Stroll down the river a block or two and you come to the street going up onto the charming town. The street is cobblestoned and VERY steep but a free shuttle bus makes rounds periodically. There are so many restaurants around and a bakery. More up into town. The hotel breakfast has a big selection but you do everything yourself and it takes forever to figure it all out. At 18 euro I would skip it. Parking was free at the hotel and there was plenty of it. The hotel is tucked away but is well signed so we had no problems finding it. The entry is on the side away from the parking lot. Can’t go in the back door. Overall it is an excellent hotel in a beautiful location. We would certainly stay there again if we were lucky enough to return and met many people who came often.

Clearly a relatively new hotel, the room was very spacious, especially the bathroom which was one of the best I've seen in hotels in my price range. Pool was good too, very welcome as I arrived on a hot day. Bike storage was also provided with no issues, Secure but is outside. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet and very good. Only issue was the room window had just a net curtain which made it feel a bit exposed when in the room with lights on at night.

Only observation is that one has to be a bit of a gymnast to use the tub/shower combo. Room tended to the small size but reasonable.

Clean and comfortable room. Great staff. Location is very nice. The main town is up a long hill but it is one of the prettiest walks you will ever take. The pool was great as it was about 100 degrees.

The parking was easy to access and above ground behind the hotel. The breakfast was fabulous. The location was ideal with many good restaurants nearby . The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

We liked the location on the river with several restaurants within a 5 minute walk. It was a bit of an uphill climb to the center of town but worth the walk. Hotel staff was pleasant and very helpful. The rooms could use refreshing.

Our “go to” hotel when in Dinan
Always a great stay in this hotel. We love the proximity to the port and old town and with an outdoor pool to swim and relax after our cycle from Saint Malo. The only grumble being the unnecessary wait of 19 minutes until the magic 15:00 check in time despite the room being available.

The hotel is in a great location next to the river and within easy walking distance of the beautiful town of Dinan. Be aware the hotel restaurant doesn’t open on Sunday nor Monday even in peak season - not very convenient!

Clean, modern and welcoming. Staff were amazing. Only criticism is the layout of the breakfast buffet. Very confined and confusing space - a bit of a bun fight to reach what you wanted. Apart from that all excellent and we will be going back - brilliant location too

Excellent breakfast with gluten-free options. Disappointing that single-use plastic and paper cups were used in the bedrooms - not very ecological. I would expect glass/china in a 4 star hotel.

The hotel was in a beautiful location. Shame most of the area’s restaurants were closed over Christmas. We were told that the hotel didn’t have a front desk, but it does and has someone there all the time to help with any questions you may have.

Staff not up to par. When checking in I was asked if I wanted breakfast the next morning. I hesitated and was told it was included. The next day after breakfast I double checked and a different staff member said it wasn't. I would not have taken breakfast because it was 32 Eros for two. Also was never told after asking about how to walk up hill to old city. Found out after the fact on our on. Too late as we drove to town.

Friendly hotel
Although not disabled we were given a disabled persons room and so maybe had more space than if we had been given a standard room. It could not have been any further from reception which made it very quiet but the outlook from the window was a bit disappointing. The bar area was quite comfortable and although a bit pricey the breakfast was good. The hotel location is right on the river which is very picturesque.

Consistently high standard in all areas
Modern, clean good sized rooms, ours on the ground floor with king-size bed and large ensuite with shower. We like this hotel as it has safe, secure storage for our bicycles and is close to dining options we like to experience on the other side of the Port de Dinan. We enjoyed the outdoor heated swimming pool and good sized powerful jacuzzi which was a lovely way to relax after a cycle ride from St Malo and a mooch around the old city

Hotel is nicely situated on the beautiful river bank, which glows in morning light. Room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast excellent. Staff was also helpful. Highly recommend.

Along the water of a beautiful small port
There were 4 of us in two rooms, all of whom loved this hotel. Fantastic location along the water where there were authentic creperies and Breton restaurants all within an easy walk. The restaurant had a large parking lot for convenience. The rooms were cozy with nice bathrooms. For the price category, this hotel was spot on. There is a small street train that will take you up the hill to the charming village of Dinan, or you can walk for exercise. A lovely experience staying at this Mercure.

Very good hotel.Staff friendly and helpful.Room clean and comfortable.We had a meal in the restaurant which was very good.The hotel is well situated in a lovely area,very close to restaraunts and bars in the old port area.Dinan is a short drive away and is well worth a visit .The only thing not 100 percent was the breakfast,nothing wrong with the food but there was a bit of chaos with items running out! Also many of the tables were left uncleared which did not help people finding somewhere to sit.This was the only little thing that we found at all wrong so nothing that can't be fixed.All told a very good experience and we would certainly return and would recommend to others

Short Stay in Dinan
A short stay in this hotel, an excellent position down by the river with a several good restaurants nearby. The Hotel is fairly new and very comfortable although we found it difficult to regulate the air conditioning which only allowed modification of 3 degrees from the set average! The staff were cordial and pleasant but not overly welcoming. Breakfast was fine but expensive.

Amazing place
The hotel is in the most beautiful location! Walking distance to restaurants at the port and to Dinan Centre. Room was comfortable and clean, there is a lovely pool and wifi is free and quick. The hotel let me leave my car in their secure car park whilst I traveled to Paris on the train for two nights.
