“Good Value!”

Very nice hotel. The breakfast every mornig was a deffinite plus. No complaints. Room was clean and smelled good. Air conditioning worked well.

“Wonderful Hotel”

Driving up you see that it is an old hotel which worried me at first, but it remodeled perfectly. We had a 2 queen suite which is 2 separate rooms, 3 sinks (including the bar sink in the living room), a sofa sleeper, beautiful decor and immaculately clean. I am extremely fussy and this hotel has my highest recommendation. Cortez is the best location to stay when visiting the amazing Mesa Verde. The only small problem is there is not enough seating for breakfast. It is a great breakfast however and we always found seating but it can be difficult. I hadn't stayed in a Best Western in years because of their variablity in quality but please - Stay here when visiting Mesa Verde!!! You won't be disappointed.

“Best room on our trip”

The room was a suite, living room and bedroom. The quality was exceptional, especially the bed. I could not believe such an exceptional property would be located in Cortez, Colorado. On our trip we stayed in a Westin in Vail and Denver, The Best Western room was of equal quality and they gave you a free breakfast! I was blown away.

“Nice”

Late spring storm delayed our trip a day but called the motel and revised our stay. Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and good water pressure/temp. The kids liked the jet spa. Breakfast was great. The only downside was that the weather strip on the door was worn and let some of the outside noise in. Late night traffic from the street was annoying. I laid an extra blanket on the floor next to the door which helped.

An older property that has been upgraded and very well-maintained. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. The morning breakfast is excellent, and the staff keeps the area clean and well-refeshed. It is conveniently located, with gasoline and groceries right across the street, and dinner options nearby.
