“Superb Breakfast!!! :)”

We had a lovely time in the hotel. Very friendly and helpful host.Good location,private car park,delicious breakfast- the best we have had in England! Thank You!

“will never go back again”

Room upkeep/maintenance way below any reasonable standard in our opinion, partial floorboards missing with carpet covering hole, wallpaper peeling off, shower scruffy-wouldn't go in it. Toilet seat loose and ball valve sang to us, floor covering in shower room scruffy and in desperate need of attention. Had to climb on chair over small desk to get to window to close it. Kettle on small desk to high to reach the intended socket easily and pulled itself out of socket. Whole hotel in general needed updating and cleaning. However food at breakfast was first class. Parking facilities good. Think it was three star, but don't know how. For the amount of money we paid (breakfast included)it was not value for money.

“Only stay if you have to”

Pretty appalling. - Our train was delayed from London over bank holiday weekend, - Calling from the train to notify them we were late, we were told to hurry up as they wanted to go to bed. - When we were arrived we were told we were late and should of been there earlier, the man was plain rude. - The bed was squeaky, hence every time we we moved were woken up by the bed - Breakfast was nice, owner was rude and unwelcoming
