Baltimore Townhouse is a very well equiped place to stay and good value. It has a separate living room and a small kitchen area with a fridge which is a great benefit. Fresh bread and scones are delivered daily to your rooms and left outside There is also a stock of cereals fresh fruit, preserves and fresh milk. You also have an option to take a cooked breakfast at Casey's Hotel a short drive away. The breakfast includes a buffet with porridge, cerials and fresh fruit which is excellent, followed by a really good choice of cooked breakfasts served very nicely by the staff. I recommend it and the Townhouse which is within a short walk of the harbour, bars and restaurants.

Lovely lodge with upgraded rooms with luxurious amenities. Jon puts on a great breakfast buffet with made to order hot items. Hot tub and sauna are an added bonus. Been on the road for 170 nights so far on our trip and this lodge is in the top four of our hotel rooms!

Had a wonderful 3 night stay here over the easter break. Was such a peaceful beautiful hotel with lovely views. The restaurant was superb with a top rate menu and the Chef was top class. Most of all I cannot praise the staff enough We were welcomed so warmly and thoroughly spoilt throughout our stay nothing was to much trouble.
We plan to return very soon.

Nice touches- books in room, turndown service with weather forecast for next day, borrow DVDs and kites from reception- helpful! Despite all rooms being "luxury doubles" some are more overlooked than others by guests arriving/departing the building. However, we asked to change rooms and the next day got an amazing one on a high floor with great beach view which truly made our holiday! The staff are lovely, the Residents Bar is a quiet retreat, the main restaurant great for breakfast (good seaviews) but pricey 5 course evening meals so we chose to eat in the atmospheric Dunes Bistro Bar (also within the hotel). You cannot reserve tables here but we got in most nights without much of a wait and the food is incredible as are the portion sizes! Both beaches either side of the hotel are to die for and walks are plenty. Clonakilty town is nice and only about 10mins away by car (tricky to walk as not always pavement) with other eating choices aplenty but we couldn't tear ourselves away from Dunes! Go try and enjoy- we will be BACK!!
