Agios Gordios is a beautiful and peaceful town with a stunning beach.
Accommodation is basic but great value - old school Greek.

Basic hotel in great location
Basic hotel, very friendly and responsive staff. Fantastic pool! About 8 minute walk to the beach (down a short steep hill), through the centre of town. Only complaints are: the hotel runs out of hot water in the morning, so morning showers are cold. And the driver the hotel recommended for the ride from the airport was rude and impatient, so would recommend going elsewhere for this service.

Location is good about 7 mins walk to the beach & loads of stores & restaurants around.
Relaxed hotel, more like an apartment block. The room was equiped with fridge, kettle and plates etc so easy to have simple meals in. You can use the pool at the next door hotel as long as you use the bar. Fantastic location! Stunning view, short steep walk to the sea, lots of shops nearby. Lots of tracks and paths to explore, enjoyed walking to Pentati and Kato Garouna in the evenings (see Agios Gordios website) for stunning views. Meals out were good value and good food.
Quiet place and great location for exploring the island. Also very good views from the balcony. Breakfast are great and well worth the money. Staff is friendly and helpful.
We were extremely happy with our stay at Golden! An amazing view and location for the price. It's a straight up room with basics like a fridge and AC but the best part is the incredible balconies on all rooms with panorama views of the ocean, cliffs, sunsets in Agios Gordios. We would definitrly stay there again. It's about a 500m walk to the beach. Getting back to the hotel means a small hill but this ascent adds to your view so I wouldn't have it any other way. We looked at the hotels closer to the beach and most didn't have a view they were jammed amongst each other and cost twice as much.
For Corfu, we think Agios Gordios was the best place to stay. It's central and easy to get to all parts of island with a quad, scooter, or car. It has an amazing view and beach, and it's town has a decent amount of restraints and bars to keep it lively but not overly crowded. Check out the cave by snorkeling on the south end of the beach. You can swim right into it and there's a small sand beach at the back (15m into cave).
Our other two favorite spots are paleokastritsa and Corfu town. Paleokastritsa is beautiful and has great view points and snorkeling. Corfu town was surprising with its Venetian built town with castles. It feels like walking through Venice around sunset.
Great place to stay if you only have basic needs. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great balcony views, good location if you don't mind a short walk up a hill, and access to two fantastic pool and bar areas next door. Only downsides would be expensive breakfast (plenty of options nearby though), shoddy wi-fi, and you should definitely pay the €5 extra per night for A/C.

Fantastic sea view, great pool
Lovely stay at this hotel. We booked a 2-bedroom room via Expedia for 2 adults 2 children but when we arrived we discovered had we had 2 separate rooms accessed by one central door which could be locked and then 2 separate front doors within. This was perfect for us and our 2 teenage daughters who had their own bathroom, fridge etc - they could leave the room as messy as they wanted without it affecting me! Rooms cleaned daily, clean towels every other day. Greaat pool with small diving board , bar snacks and drinks good & resonably priced. We ate out at night which means a short walk into town and an uphill walk back at the end of the night but nothing to worry about unless of course, you have walking difficulties. We had a very enjoyable stay in this resort.
The town of Agios Gordis is a lovely little beach town and the Golden Nests hotel perches above with a fantastic sea view, a quick walk down the hill to the main road, and a good pool to use just next door. The staff is very accomodating, the rooms were basic but clean, and I left the curtains open so I could wake up to the fantastic view.
As others noted air conditioning is an additional fee and there are mosquitos at night so you want to close the doors. Even in June this was fine, the room was a pleasant temperature and the staff offered plug-ins to deter bugs.
This is a great location at a great price, I would go back!
