“Great Hotel, Great Room, Great Staff”
Comfortable Lobby with free wi-fi. Excellent facillities. Terriffic staff.
“Sweet!”
Thought it was a great place to stay. It took us a long time to find it though cause it was tucked in behind buildings. The service was awesome and very personable.
“Eastern Long Island stop over point”
Off the beaten path but very clean, quiet and comfortable.
“Nice clean and quiet hotel but a little tricky to find”
We stayed in room 202 for the weekend of 7/17/09-7/19/09 and couldn't have asked for anything better. The worst part was finding the place since some of the roads that are close to it dead-end and it looks like Google maps may need to be updated to reflect this but once you get there, it is very convenient to Sunrise highway and the major north-south roads. When we got there we found that the hotel was newly renovated (it opened in September 2008) and our room looked as good as the day they removated it. Everything looked brand new and squeaky clean and the bathroom is all granite tiles and vanity tops! I'm originally from Long Island and we were there for my nieces HS graduation party. The last time we stayed at a motel in Lindenhurst, it was a dump, still decorated from the 70's and was pretty nasty. Conversely, the Days Inn in Copiague, which is only a few miles away, was very new and super clean with a great and helpful staff. Knowing the caliber of the typical (quick-stay) hotels you find on Long Island, this hotel was a very pleasant surprise and I highly recommend it. p.s. While doing some research I did see a negative review of this hotel on another web site (hotels dot com or tripadvisor) which warned of bed bugs and hookers but I saw no evidence of either so I'm not sure where they were staying but I doubt it was here.
“Close to beaches”
We were happy with how close this was to Jones Beach and Robert Moses State Park - a 20 minute drive at the most. Normally I am not a fan of motels, but this was fine for one night.
“Nice place for the price”
Although this hotel was a little tricky to get to (the sign couldn't be seen very well from the main road), it was exactly what I was looking for - clean, quiet & comfortable. I stayed in a king room, which was much smaller than other king rooms I have been in before, however, for one person, it was perfect. Everything was clean; no awful oders in the air. Air conditioning worked very well. Flat screen TV mounted on the wall. Bed was very comfortable. It is in a weird location however-- it's behind a gas station, but right next to a residential area. The only complaint I can make is that the room either next to me or below me (I was on the corner) had a loud pipe sound when someone was running the shower. Thankfully I was already up! I would definately recommend the Days Inn in Copiague, especially for the price. Long Island is expensive, and if you're just looking to have a clean, comfortable & quiet nights sleep, without spending too much money, that's the place to go. Very conveniently located to main routes.
“Quick Getaway”
Very nice hotel. Friendly staff.
“A Really Pleasant Surprise”
Our visit to Days Inn Long Island Copiague was terrific. First, but not part of the hotel package, it was my only grand child's third birthday. Second, and what most travelers should know is that this is a great little, newly remodeled inn. The owner was at the front desk each morning and we even had breakfast with him on our second morning. The hotel is on the edge of what is supposedly not the best area of Long Island. We never saw that area. The inn was just remodeled last year and looks terrific. The rates are half of most of the others in the area. He collects the fees ahead of time which really raises the level of his customers. This is a great place to stay on Long Island.

“Clean Room, Friendly Staff”
Overall, my stay was very satisfactory. The room was always clean, and the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Check-in/check-out was very efficient. My only complaint about the hotel would be the thin walls — a couple in the room behind mine argued from 12:00AM-3:00AM, and seemingly, had made up around 4AM (the head's of the beds were up against the same wall, if you know what I mean). I don't fault the hotel for the noise, as people should be more respectful of other guests, but it did make a bad first impression of the hotel on my first night. The reason for my stay was visiting someone in the area. This hotel suited the purpose of my stay, however, I don't think the hotel was close to any type of tourist-like/entertainment attractions for anyone visiting the area for those reasons.
