“A great hotel conveniently located”
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful. We were given a room on the first floor initially, but requested and were given a room on a higher floor (to avoid noise from the bars below having read a previous review) There was still some noise from the courtyard, but not so much as to disturb us. It is a short walk to/from the railway station and Tivoli Gardens and not too far from the parliament building, Nyhavn and the main shopping area. The 'light supper' proved adequate enough for an evening meal, being a buffet, the food was not piping hot but there was plenty of it wih a moderate choice. The breakfast room was very crowded on Saturday and Sunday morning, but thoughtful timing could avoid the rush. Weekdays there was no problem. Tea and coffee were available nearly all day and upon checkout, we were invited to leave our luggage in a secure location until our departure.
“Felt like you were staying in someone's hip, chic home”
This is a great hip hotel with a lovely boutique feel. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful and the free buffet on saturday night was a lovely touch. If you want cool and chic surroundings the is the place to stay.
“The place to stay in Copenhagen!”
Staff were friendly, fantastic location right in the centre, rooms were gorgeous and the buffet breakfast and dinner were great. The cocktail lounge was a good place to hang out in the evenings. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
“Coopenhagen's Best Kept Secret”
I researched many different hotel options, but chose to stay at Hotel 27 before and after a cruise that left from Copenhagen. I chose the hotel because of the price, breakfast and dinner being included and its great location. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The breakfast and dinner provided exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and more than enough! It definitely saved lots of money because meals can be quite expensive elsewhere. I think I may have saved $40-50 over other hotels that charged for breakfast on the cost of eating these meals in other restaurants. The hotel's location is great and within easy walking distance of city hall, the shopping street, the Tivoli, departure of sightseeing tours, and all of the major tourist attractions. The rooms had very comfortable beds. Some rooms are a bit small, others quite spacious. After saying that they are all more than adequate because there's so much to do you don't spend much time in your room. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to respond to requests. I have already recommended the hotel to other people and if I were going back to Copenhagen this is where I would stay without question. The inclusion of breakfast and dinner each day along with the location make Hotel 27 a great value and a great place to stay.
“Modern Hotel in a Great Location”
The hotel is very modern and is in an excellent location. It is near Tivoli Gardens, the Central Station, Radhuspladsen and Stroget. You can pretty much walk everywhere from here if you enjoy exploring. The rooms are a bit tiny (if you book the moderate double room). The bed was a little bit bigger than a twin size bed. This was for 2 people. Great if you're with a significant other and enjoy tiny beds. The only other complaint was that the window in our room wasn't very sound proof. We stayed on the 3rd floor and could here everything including the bell that rings. Other than that, it was a great hotel. They also serve free breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was excellent and had a huge variety. The bar is also nice to check out if you like specially made drinks. Next to the hotel is the IceBar. It's pricey to check out, but definitely worth the experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Great hotel in convenient location”
I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Copenhagen. It is conveniently located near the city center, Tivoli gardens and shopping. The breakfast in the morning and light dinner are great, especially considering the cost of food at cafes and restaurants in the city. The staff was very helpful in getting around and giving recommendations. It isn't right next to the metro but not too far, about a 10 minute walk. Additionally, the hotel does have bikes available to get around the city. The central train station is also ten minutes or less away, which is great if you want to get out of the city.
“Impressive”
I booked this hotel using only Expedia as a reference and I am impressed. The hotel is in a great location with walking distance to shopping, attractions and wonderful pubs and eateries. It offers buffet supper and an amazing breakfast selection. I highly recommend staying there.
“inconsicuous but good hotel,”
Had a small room but asked for a larger room as we had been on the road for weeks, No problem but, understandibly a small modest charge, This was more than off set by the fact that both breakfast and dinner are included in the tariff. The inclusion of dinner also good if you have had a full day at exploring and you simply can't muster the strenght to go out again in the evening, The meal was quite extensive in variety and value.
“Close to Tivoli Gardens”
The room we booked was small so we upgraded. Reception people were very helpful. Breakfast was adequate but don't expect an American-style buffet. Hotel was convenient to the train station, Tivoli Gardens and the main pedestrian street, which began near the hotel. Taxis come quickly when called by Reception. If you don't mind walking to sightsee this hotel is a good place to stay.
“Extremely Pleased”
We were extremely pleased with our accommodations and the service at this hotel and look forward to staying there again on our return to Copenhagen.
