“Fantastic Hotel although not in the City Centre”
A wonderful hotel, with fantastic staff. We ate in the bar/restaurant late on Saturday evening, the food was fantastic and the service was even better! Rooms we're a decent size with comfortable beds and all the usual amenities. While it is a little way out of the city the bus service is fantastic and drivers were very helpful! Bus No 30 from Central Station (heading south) will drop you right to the hotel door. Would defiantly recommend this hotel.
“Pleasant staff, good service, very comfortable, good value”
Only drawback is that the hotel is a bus ride away from the city, but it's not that difficult to manage the trip to and from the town. Buses were reliable, cheap and felt very safe. Taxi availability in Copenhagen is excellent and easy to manage.
“Nice hotel for Copenhagen business/leisure stay”
We really liked this hotel. Breakfast was both continental and cooked and very tasty, rooms clean and modern, and it has a sauna and jacuzzi on the top floor, which was open late and we had it all to ourselves! Also a very nice seating area outside, on the quiet harbour side. Lovely to have a drink or have dinner, or just relax in the sun. On the road side, the rooms are quite noisy if you like to sleep with the window open. The harbour side is very quiet though. You can take bus 30 or 4a to get into town, or take the train to Sudhaven and walk for about 10-15 minutes. All in all very recommended, also if you want a more luxerious hotel close to the centre for the same price as a much lesser hotel in the centre.

“A few hiccups but a great stay overall”
I arrived at the hotel about 30 minutes early and was grateful that they allowed me to check in early. I spent 2 days at the hotel extremely jet lagged from my trip to Europe, so I appreciated the quiet hotel in the middle of no where! The only thing I did not appreciate about the hotel and the staff was that no one addressed me while I waiting in the lobby for 6 hours (the time between my checkout and my friends picking me up). None of the staff asked if they could store my bags in their closet. I probably should have asked for a later check out but I didn't. During my wait in the lobby, I overheard another guest being offered a free drink upon check in due to his reservation being booked online. I booked my hotel online but wasn't offered a free drink. Overall, I had a very good experience at this hotel and would recommend to a friend.
“Good all around hotel”
Nice, modern hotel. A little off the center of Copenhagen, but with easy access to public transportation like busses and train. 20 minutes from Kastrup Aiport by taxi and about 45 minutes by direct bus connection.
“Excellent business hotel”
I had to use the Clarion as a last minute lodging for a trip to Copenhagen. The hotel was very very good. Rooms were clean, nice, new, and very "Copenhagen" :). Also the internet access was a real plus, though a little slow if you have any decent size downloads. The food in the hotel was pretty good as well. Folks at the front desk were very nice and supportive - the breakfast was solid and quick. Got a taxi pronto to get to work as well - and proximity to the airport and freeways was great too. Solid value - would use this again. Very functional and good for a business trip.
“Good Value”
A little far from the center, but a bus stop is just outside the door and in Copenhagen you usually don't have to wait long for a bus.
“Great hotel - distant location”
This is a great hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and staff were friendly. The hotel restaurant was surprisingly good. It's about a 5 minute taxi ride to the airport. The downside is it's several kilometers removed from the city center. In order to get to downtown Copenhagen without a car, you have to catch a local bus that runs 4 times an hour and takes about 15 minutes. Once we found the bus stop it was easy to navigate and not a big hindrance. It's just not as convenient as we would have liked. That being said, we felt it was worth the trade off to stay in comfort at a 4-star hotel for a reasonable price.
“Clarion Hotel Copenhagen”
Great hotel, but location is out of the way - there's no amenities nearby. The hotel is no longer called the Clarion - it's now called "First Hotel Copenhagen". It's obviously been called that since before we booked it - it would have been nice to be looking for the right hotel.
