The six function rooms at Concord's Colonial Inn and Suites are individually decorated in Colonial style, and are popular for meetings, banquets, and wedding parties. Multiple dining venues include tearooms, taverns, and full-service restaurants, as well as alfresco seating on the front porch in summer. A high tea with homemade scones, sandwiches, and an assortment of teas is served on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays in the Thoreau Room.
The hotel offers 24-hour business center, 7 meeting and conference rooms, and complimentary wireless Internet access throughout the hotel. Concord's Colonial Inn and Suites is a smoke-free property.
Room Amenities
Rooms
This Concord's Colonial Inn and Suites encompasses several buildings, and each of the 56 guestrooms has a unique character. Rooms are individually decorated in Colonial-era style with hand-picked antiques and reproductions, patterned wallpaper, colorful draperies, and decorative details such as gilded mirrors or quilts handmade by the current owner's wife.
Historic rooms located in the original inn vary in shape and size; some have original post-beamed ceilings, wainscoting, and plank pine floors. Many historic rooms are furnished with four-poster or sleigh beds, and some have decorative fireplaces and views of Monument Square. The Prescott Wing, added to the inn in 1970, features European and Deluxe rooms. Decor leans to New England country style, with striped or patterned wallpaper and wingback chairs. European rooms are on the garden level, while Deluxe rooms offer views of Monument Square.
All rooms feature windows that open, 27-inch cable TV with premium channels, CD players, and complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access (network cards available for rent). Private bathrooms feature a shower/tub combination and complimentary toiletries. Guestrooms are all non-smoking.

“Satisfied customer”
The rooms are quirky to say the least but are very clean and comfortable. The hotel owners are very friendly and pleasant and really do make you feel welcome. The included breakfast was fantastic and the service was very friendly. A great overnight stop.
“Step back in time”
I arrived at the hotel, a little worried by some of the reviews I had read and after the experience at my previous hotel in Boston soemwhat concerned. After the gentle walk from the train station to the hotel, through the falling leaves, I was greated with a cracking view. The hotel is at it portrays- an old coaching in in a very picturesque and historic little town. My room was a little "twee" but it was decorated in the vein of a historic building- The bathroom was fine and the bed was comfortable- Meals at the hotel were superb, but why can't US restaurants feed you just a little less. Open Mic nite on Sunday and the "impromptu" celidah on Monday was a blast. Concord as a venue is superb- only $8 by public transport from Logan and what a history- first battle of the American War of independence- home of Emerson, Hawthorne, Thoreau and Little Women- I will be back- 1 gripe - it offered free wi-fi. I couldn't get a signal.
“Will always stay here when in town on business or leisure. Love the historical aspects of it!”
A great place to slow down from the rapid pace of 21st Century America. A very relaxing place to stay that is also an easy & short drive to Hanscom AFB. Within leisurely strolling distance of many American icons...The North Bridge (first shots of the Revolution), homes of several of our earliest and still beloved authors, poets, and patriots, Walden Pond, etc. The restaurant is first-rate, and breakfast is done very well, too! A great way to start your day. The staff is very warm and inviting, and go the extra mile for you.
“Beautiful hotel within steps of history”
Wonderfly quaint hotel from 1716! Nice hotel staff who were very helpful with any concerns I might have. It was a nice quiet stay with no outside noise; even considering there's a bar with live bands/singers in the hotel. The area is simply beautiful too! In the middle of everything historic! Highly recommend for any traveler; business or leisure; solo or with family.
“Loved it and will return”
It was lovely
“Step back in time”
This hotel was perfect for the area. It was quaint and personal. Not the usual hotel. The room was nice and had many comforts, but the best thing about our stay was the restaurant, tavern, and the surrounding sights. We ate in the restaurant and it was fantastic. One of the best meals of our vacation! Another night we sat in the tavern and enjoyed some music by local musicians-- jazz and other "older melodies." What a great time! We also walked to the Old North Bridge for a spot of history and enjoyed walking around the town square and area.
“Fantastic Place To Stay”
We recently stayed at the Colonial Inn and found it a great experience. The food at the hotel is extremely good and the people are very nice. It's in the center of history. We went to attend a wedding in Boston and everyone told his make sure to do the Boston tours - we had such a great time in Concord exploring everything, we forgot all about Boston. A definate return trip is in order for this person.
“Quaint and Outstanding Historic Hotel”
We stayed four days at the Colonial Inn. I had heard that the rooms might be a little small, so we opted for one of the two-room suites. They are actualy located in a historic home less than 1/2 block from the main building. The room was very spacious and included a kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave. The big antique bed was very comfortable, although the dresser was not of the quality of the rest of the very nice antique furniture. The Bathroom was all new and spacious. The ambiance of the suite was quite romantic and the service was exemplary. Our room was just a short walk from the Concord Center shops and restaurants. Every day was a joy and a pleasure. I'd recommend paying the little extra for the suite if you are looking for space, convenience and a very warm, romantic atmosphere.
“Excellent hotel - would love to go back should the oportunity arise”
Well the food and service are EXCELLENT. There is access for mobility impaired guests, just make sure you reserve a room on the second floor (the same floor as reception), though access from the rear parking lot may be difficult.
“Extremely pleased with the Hotel”
Excellent location. Dining room served really good food. A charming and convenient place to stay. The room was comfortable and the Hotel staff was helpful. Would recommend this Hotel.
