Hotel was very noise.

Hotel itself is just ok. Just do not have any conversation inside your room. Walls are very paper thin.

Not very appealing

Posted 14-Apr-2014
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Everything
Location: Have no clue since the staff did not offer any suggestions. too busy talking with each other
I was not pleased that I had to valet park or could not park close to the hotel. The ice machine and pop machine on my floor did not work and the staff told me to utilize the other floors. The dining was really expensive, so we did not dine there. Had search for dining experiences on my own no suggestions from the staff. Had to take a cold shower both days. When I reported this to the staff, they did not seem interested. Room was either too hot or too cold and no happy medium. No refridge in the room to keep a soda cold. Could hear the people next to us and their tv.

Cons: Better continental breakfast for club rooms.
Enjoyed the room with the exception of one wall had some dirty spots that looked like they could have been wiped off.

Great hotel for seeing a game.

Posted 6-Apr-2014
Pros: Nice bar area, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: could use a pool
Location: Very close to the arena district.
As always, Sheraton is awesome. They have the most comfortable beds in the world! This hotel is great to go see a game as it is walking distance to the arena district. The only thing missing was a pool but the hotel was great.

Great Choice

Posted 6-Apr-2014
This was my first time to Columbus, and I wasn't sure where to stay. This was a great choice! The hotel was extremely nice. The staff was extremely helpful when suggesting transportation and local activities. I was there for a hockey game at Nationwide Arena, and we were within walking distance. I'd definitely stay there again. Also, we had problems with our thermostat at midnight, and they sent maintenance up right away to fix it. I was pleasantly surprised how quick and efficient he was.

Our stay at the Sheraton, Capital Square

Posted 5-Apr-2014
Pros: it was a clean hotel
Cons: bring back breakfast & free parking, also shuttle does not run after 7 pm
Location: not much to do but see capital square
It is a very nice hotel but last time we stayed there, was a great buffet (free) breakfast in the fall of 2013. This stay had no free breakfast & I think it is expensive when you also have to pay $23 for parking per day. ($200 total) I think our next stay will be downtown Columbus, for a much more reasonable rate (with breakfast), and walking distance to the the Arena versus paying for parking.

Excellent experience

Posted 31-Mar-2014
Pros: convenience.
Cons: Walls could be a little thicker :)
Location: Next to Capitol building, ohio theater, Riffe center, nationwide arena, dirty franks hot dog palace, Cosi, Ohio State.
This is the second time i stayed at the Sheraton Capitol Square. The rooms must have been renovated because they were a lot cleaner and organized this time. the staff was very good at the counter, did not have to deal with any other staff since i had nothing to complain about which was a good thing. Looks like it still gets bottled up at the Valet parking out front and noticed people waiting a long time for their cars. I parked at the Capitol building underground parking which is policed by the highway patrol 24 hrs a day, since it is right next door we only had to walk across the street and it is half the price of the hotel valet. very convenient place to stay if going to theatre, cosi, riffe center and nationwide arena, or the hot chocolate 15k race. I will definatley stay at this hotel next year for the same event i stayed at for this year.Breakfast buffet was a little pricey at $15.00 a plate for what the selections were but hey, It is a hotel. Nice WIFI area to sit down and use the hotels many computers free of charge.

Very nice hotel, friendliest staff.

Posted 31-Mar-2014
Pros: The atmosphere and staff.
Cons: The rooms were a tad bit dusty,
Location: Tons of restaurants, sporting events and the convention center
The staff was the best part of the stay. Very helpful, ordering pizza, hailing a cab, recommending restaurants, directions and parking.
