Cons: The hotel manager that I briefly spoke with was smarmy.
Nothing really all that exciting. Pretty basic accommodations. Every was nice, clean, and orderly, but nothing was exactly impressive.

Very DisappointedPosted 25-Jun-2014
It was not the best. Air conditioner in our room wasn't working. Took 3 electricians to come and look at it starting at 1:30 am Friday morning. FINALLY we were able to change rooms. On the website it never stated we had to pay for our continental breakfast as well as there being valet parking at $23.00 per day. As for recommending this hotel to our friends. . It won't be happening.

Great downtown location and very luxuriousPosted 22-Jun-2014
Pros: See above
Cons: All was excellent.
Location: See above
The number one factor in a hotel, the beds, were very comfortable with the best pillows I've found anywhere. The bathroom was also giant-sized compared to most hotels, and the location was perfect for a walk to Lifestyles Communities Pavilion (1.2 miles away). There were also plenty of restaurants within walking distance, but the hotel also offered a very nice buffet price on breakfast and full room service. I would definitely stay here again should I ever find myself in Columbus Ohio.

Great locationPosted 22-Jun-2014
The Sheraton is in a great downtown location. We stayed for only 1 night for a concert near the hotel. Our room was on the 15th floor & overlooked a nice outdoor park area. The hotel is starting to show its age though. It looks like they've done some quick updates to wallpaper, decor & carpeting but there were cracks in the popcorn ceiling & the overall feel of the hotel was very dark.

Not too bad proximity to the the Convention CenterPosted 19-Jun-2014
Pros: Overall cleanliness of room and hotel
Cons: More convenient wi-fi access.
I've booked this hotel for my stay during Origins. I'm pleased with the stay from the staff at the front counter all the way up to the rooms itself. The bathroom felt very spacious - perhaps it was due to the fact that the last time I've stayed at a hotel room was last year in Boston. Sometimes I felt that I didn't need all the extra bells and whistles the room provided, including the complementary starbucks coffee. The rooms were large enough for multiple guests in the room, and free wi-fi in the lobby. Only beef was that despite getting a SPG member and I was going to get comp. wi-fi in the room, I would have to at least pay for the initial $10/night to get it. Instead I just used the free wi-fi in the lobby instead. Check-in and Check-out was fast and seamless.

Close to Everything!Posted 8-Jun-2014
Pros: Hotel was easy to navigate, the outdoor space and the fountain was perfect for an evening to just sit and enjoy a glass of wine.
Cons: The only minor thing I could see improved, was the tub bottom was a little slippery. Grab bars handy tho.
Location: Loved the location! We walked to German Village and toured on foot. Beautiful area. The Elevator Brewery within walking distance too.
Loved our stay downtown Columbus! Had business just 1 1/2 blocks away. Valet parking made taking care of our car easy. And we enjoyed the Jazz concert right behind the hotel in Columbus Commons park.

Laid back Columbus, almost Truman Show like.Posted 28-May-2014
Pros: The hotel was clean and reasonably modern with no overt signs of wear and tear. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The hotel movies are a little expensive.
Location: The Ohio theatre is very close. No shops at all, or anything. There is a good mall near the airport. It is very sedate, even the drivers.
The Sheraton is in the heart of the City. Quiet and refined (Memorial Day weekend) with reasonable prices, if booked in advance. The receptionist even took off the internet charges, without me even asking. My King size bed was big and comfortable. The mattress was firm and very thick. It was so thick, I had to move to the side of the bed and jump off. I am 6ft 2 inches, it made me feel like a child again. There is no pool, which is a slight draw back as there not much to do in the centre of Columbus. The Renaissance hotel, a few blocks away has a pool, but is very heavily used for wedding parties.

The customer services was terriblePosted 20-May-2014
Cons: Yes, the customer services!
I stayed 3 nights. One of them, they didn't do the room services, so i ask for a free night and they gave me 400 points in my reward account that would be possible in some other hotel, but no in their because i need 700 points to stay in that hotel, so i asked for 300 more and they didn't give me them. So, basically i paid for something that i didn't receive.

A Hotel in the Heart of the Capital City of OhioPosted 9-May-2014
Pros: The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast menu at the restaurant was very nice. The service was more than adequate.
Cons: The valet parking was deplorable--especially having to wait in one of two grid-locked lines to get into the garage. The surcharge was not worth it.
Location: As mentioned above, the theaters and restaurants are among the best. The Arena district and the Brewery district both offer many dining/fun options.
I chose this hotel because it was located in downtown Columbus and close to many attractions. I wanted to be able to walk to as many places as possible and on city streets that were safe. I enjoyed a concert by the Columbus Symphony Orchestra at the Southern Theater which was only two blocks away. I walked to St. Joseph's Cathedral for Mass on Sunday morning. It was enjoyable taking many pictures of local scenes as I went. My room had a commanding view of the state capitol and nearby business buildings, including the Leveque Tower, Columbus's first skyscraper. From there it was an easy drive to other places I visited, including the Columbus Museum of Fine Arts and my old high school, St. Charles Prep, where I enjoyed a student production of the stage musical "Working" based on the Studs Terkel book of the same name. A reunion with two of my classmates from high school days rounded off my visit well. A stay at the Sheraton Columbus at Capitol Square was well worth it.

Great downtown locationPosted 4-May-2014
Pros: Location, 24 hour-gym access on 22nd floor
Cons: Water pressure for the shower.
Location: OSU, Nationwide arena/arena district, convention center, good restaurants (walking distance is subjective but quick cab ride for sure), COSI
First time in Columbus for a one night quick road trip to check out the city. When I checked in it was a really friendly process. The hotel lobby and room was standard. It was the location that made it a great choice. Close to OSU, Short North, Nationwide Arena, COSI, and many restaurants. I asked for more towels and they brought it to me pretty quickly. The best thing for me was the 24 hour gym access on the 22nd floor. The worst thing during this stay is the low water pressure in the shower. I walked over to the COSI the morning before I checked-out from the hotel. It was around a 10 minute walk.
