“Good service”

It is an older hotel, but is very affordable and served its purpose.

“colorado springs”

Our stay in this motel was for seven nights. It is very old but the staff is very accommodating. The plumbing and bathroom fixtures very much reflected its age. The beds were comfortable but on one day, housekeeping "forgot" to make them for us. The location is convenient to Fort Carson and local sites but we will stay elsewhere on our next trip.

“Won't pick this one again...”

This hotel was fine for our one night stay, I suppose. I certainly wouldn't care to spend a vacation here. I felt it was very overpriced for what it was. The breakfast they serve was extremely basic!!! I could have gone to McDonald's for a better one. I also would have liked a ride to the airport. They allow pets, but you can't leave them in the room when you're gone. What's the point, then? The dog walking area is IN the ghetto, literally, behind the inn.

“It is what you pay for.”

We spent one night at the Rodeway Inn (planned one night stay). The pool wasn't open yet because of the season. The inn is located south of downtown kind of reminds you of an inner city area. The only real issue we had was the weather stripping on the door was torn off or the door was not set right. This caused a 1/2 inch gap on the bottom of the door. Surprisingly we slept very good. THis is definately a "Get what you paid for" type motel.

“Not bad for the price, but a rough neighborhood”

Hotel was fine. Did witness a fight across the street at 7pm, which would cause me not to put my family up at this hotel.

“Average accomodations, but staff is more than willing”

My first day at the Econolodge was going well until I was ready to go to bed for the evening. Though the accomodations were basic, the room was clean and seemed safe. However, when I turned my sheets back to go to bed, I found several different strands of hair on my sheets and pillowcase. It was far too late to go to the office and complain so I just removed the pillowcase and put a t-shirt over it instead. Following that evening, I made sure to check out my sheets every day. Sadly, there wasn't one day during my trip where, though I could tell they had been washed, the sheets did not have some lingering strand of hair or an old permanent stain of sorts. Overall, despite the graying, overused sheets, I felt moderately comfortable and the staffmembers were pleasant and helpful...very much in-line with what you'd expect from a two-star hotel.

“Hotel was fine for what was needed”

The hotel was fine for what I needed, it was clean. Parking was a little hard to find a spot close to your room. The breakfast that was provided was good and decent. I would say that for the price it was a pretty decent hotel. My family slept good the rooms and beds were comfortable.

“What you pay is what you get”

Positives: Wireless internet avail to those w/computer in lounge, PC set up for those without computer. Continental Breakfast offered a decent variety of cereal, doughnuts, english muffins. Well located in relation to major highways and other areas. Noone bothers you. Negatives: Wireless not in rooms, must trek to lounge/office. Construction next to room, caused noise irritant as early as 7:30 am-all day. Service staff would strip bed sheets and not return to complete turning the room for several hours - no amount of pressure to fit my schedule would expedite this on both occasions during 1 week visit. Located on busy street with median with no U turns allowed, making approach from typical North end tedious by turning into a street or other driveway to turn around. All in all, I would probably try another hotel next time but I was not surprised - a typical experience of low cost motels.

“Under-impressed”

The hotel lobby made me feel a little uncomfortable. It was quite small and dark. The room was pretty sleezy in my opinion. There was hair on one of the pillows when I got there and the whole place just felt shady. I'm not so impressed with this place.
