"WOW. Highly recommended"
We were very, very impressed. We took a long time deciding where to stay based on reviews and were very happy with this hotel. Pros: nice design, 22 story atrium with a "floating" piano bar at the sixth level, glass elevators shooting all the way up. Beautiful rooftop pool area with a wonderfully WARM swimming pool, no gasping for air when you got in, lots of trees and even a grassy area, two shallow pools for the kids, a bigger pool and a hot tub. The pool area is partially covered by a glass roof. Well equipped exercise room with views over the pool and beyond. Right on Paseo de la Reforma so easy access to everything. Rooms were renovated with nice marble and large showers Cons: Okay, Mexico City can be noisy, I don't know if any hotels are exempt. There are two noise considerations here: traffic and piano. The hotel consists of rooms arranged around two very tall atriums. One atrium contains the piano bar and room doors, the other contains nothing (I think) and contains room windows so could be quite dark the lower you go. I carefully examined the hotel to determine the potential noise levels. Rooms 1-7 (on each floor) face the Paseo so does have traffic noise, the higher you go the less noise. Rooms 1-12 have doors leading to the piano atrium so Friday & Saturday (for us) you can expect piano music until maybe 11pm. Rooms 8-24 have windows onto the empty atrium so should not have window noise. Rooms 25-31 face a quieter street.

"Great historic hotel in central location!"
A very pleasant stay. Traffic is loud in the AM but that was my only "complaint". Had a great dinner in the restaurant with a live pianist. The beef filet with duck liver was superb and would have cost 2x in the upper states at least. Very friendly staff as well!

"Business trip to Mexico City"
Excellent accomodations - gym is great (no one uses it) and has an outdoor pool and whirlpool. Great place to hold breakfast meetings - Reforma 500. Can only say great things about Concierge - selecting restaurants, assistance with transportation, and knowing time (with traffic) to reach a destination.

"Great hotel best neighborhood in Mexico city"
Our room was great, clean, big, balcony with a view on the 11th floor. The staff was nice and helpful and the main concierge during the day super awesome and helpful with getting you places or figuring out what to do or where to go. The pool is nice and clean and big. The best part was location, you could walk to shopping or museums and you could get food everywhere. I felt comfortable in our neighborhood anytime of day.
