A good Hotel in a interesting location.
Overall I think this can be classed as a Good Hotel. It is old style German a tad dated but actually reasonable value for money.

Overall very nice and quite clean and well-appointed. Like many small European hotels, there is not A/C, which is sort of okay - if you can sleep with street noise. The street quiets down but the adjacent large throughway on Hansening becomes very busy quite early. The hotel is very convenient to many places and the staff is helpful. Our main issue was with the Wifi, which did not reach very well to our floor. In order to look up local things or even request Uber, I found I had to go down to the lobby and stay there while doing so.

Great hotel
This hotel is in a great location. 15 minutes walk from the historic downtown. The hotel also offers inexpensive gated parking about a one minute walk away. Room was very clean and up to date. Management was very helpful. Breakfast was also very good.

Not bad at all.
The staff are marvelous, breakfast is very good. The problem with this hotel is the beds and the parking. They do the standard " Queen or twin" beds but only offer twins pushed together. The duvets are tiny and barely cover you. No one would book a hotel with twin beds only, so they say Queen when available - so when you complain about getting twin beds, they say oh it says only when available. They have Queen headboard lol but with two twin beds beneath it. It's incredibly uncomfortable. The parking is around the next block, and you have to pick up the fob from reception, go pick up your car, and then park in the middle of the street to turn the fob lol. Very annoying. Clean but dated.

Family trip to Cologne
The rooms we stayed in were clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were all very friendly. We were in the basement but that did not affect our comfort. Lovely shower, very comfortable beds (best nights sleep I had had in ages) and lovely buffet breakfast. If I had to find fault there were no tea or coffee making facilities but I’m sure if I had asked they would have accommodated my request. If I go back to Cologne I would stay at this hotel as it was near the underground making travel around the city easy but also it was only a 10 minute walk to the town centre for the more energetic of us!!!

Handy to many sights
This was a great hotel, close to many sights within walking distance. We arrived with a rental car and opted to use an underground parking facility nearby also within walking distance. This hotel apparently offers paid parking but we never sought this out. The room was well presented and very clean, hotel staff were welcoming. I would stay here again.

Staff super helpful. Booked an economy room- turns out it’s down stairs, but the Expedia ad didn’t say this but the staff ensured I was aware and it wasn’t a problem. Rooms tidy and comfortable, bed was good, shower and pressure was great. No fridge or tea/coffee facility in the room. Breakfast very cheap and good if on a budget. Hotel parking was easy. Staff helpful

Pleasant stay
Room was good, spacious, tidy and modern, very nice bathroom. Staff pleasant, breakfast was good, including my own coffee pot. The area is a little boring,but still close enough to the railway station, and certainly safe and clean. Wifi was better downstairs in the breakfast room. Some stairs to room.

When i was in this hotel, the next door were having bad fight husband and wife. They carried on whole night and next day morning. The noise was clearly load and made me think the could be few men and forcing the lady to work in illegal sex industry of so called Grermany. The management of the hotel bear responsibility to maintain peace and quiet atmosphere. Other than this the hotel staff were good and helpful. The location is great!

Recommended; only downside is distance from train
It is a bit of a walk from the train station, but overall, I don't have any complaints about this hotel. We were pleased with our stay and would recommend this hotel. There is an elevator if you have a lot of luggage. We stayed in a triple, and the room was spacious. I liked how there was a separate area - sort of mud room (bench and closet) when you entered the room, with the bathroom coming off of that area, and then a door, which led to the bedroom. We did not pay extra for the breakfast, so I can't speak to that. Wifi was good.

A decent hotel. Lacking in air-conditioning in the rooms which is a definite minus given the hot weather. I cannot comment on the breakfast offering as we had an early flight and so did not stay for breakfast. On the plus side, the hotel is located close to public transport, making the trip to the airport very easy.

Impeccable service!
The hotel enterance is old German style, but the rooms are newly renovated. They were very clean and spotless. Nothing to note on the rooms. Breakfast was sufficient, not grand or anything of that sorts, just the essentials. However what stood out to us was the impeccable service we were met with the times we had interactions with hotel staff.

Good Budget Hotel
Good budget hotel in Cologne. Within walking distance of the main train station and the city centre. Large cosy room with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was pretty good. While it is not a 5 star hotel, I thought it was excellent value for the price paid. I would stay here again.
