Pleasantly Surprised at the Good Standard
Surprised at the good quality of this accommodation given that it was a pension! We booked it because it was close to where we were working and it was ideal both the standard and the surrounding area that had ample choice for eating.

Lovely Spot!

Very affordable hotel just outside Köln!
My brother and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights while visiting Köln. Although the hotel isn't directly downtown, the little town of Opladen is charming and has all your basic stores and restaurants. Also it's only a 4 minute walk to the train station. Very convenient. The staff is extremely hospitable and make sure you have an excellent stay. We stayed in a room on the top floor, the room was large and very clean. Breakfast is included and is a nice spread. If visiting in the future, we'd definitely use this bed & breakfast hotel again!

Decent enough hotel. Nice breakfast. Internet in my room was a bit unreliable and slow.. Bed was a single, just big enough for a 6ft2 guy... Overall OK. Parking costs extra in a private underground car park.

A very warm welcome
A lovely little hotel with very helpful and friendly staff, rooms were quite basic but very clean and a decent breakfast. We were at a trade fair in Cologne which was very easy to get too as the train station was a 5 minute walk from the hotel and only 3 stops away...very easy and with plenty of restaurants and bars near by would certainly recommend this hotel

Outstanding service
This very charming hotel was excellent. I was attending a jazz festival and the hotel was a 7-minute drive away. It was also a 5-minute walk from the train station, so catching public transportation was extremely easy. The room was comfortable and a good size for two people. The breakfast was also very nice. The hotel was beautifully decorated and the staff was extremely friendly (this includes the owner's little dog Sonny). If I attend the jazz festival next year, I hope I will be able to stay at this hotel again.

Leider entsprach das Zimmer in keiner Weise dem Angebot der Hotel-Plattform. Hier liegt, wie bei den vergangenen Pannen, das Problem offensichtlich bei Hotel.com.

Macht den Eindruck wie ein ganz normales Wohnhaus. Man bekommt einen Haustürschlüssel, falls es mal etwas später wird. Gemütlich eingerichtet, kleiner gemütlicher Frühstücksraum mit Buffet.

Sehr sehr nette Menschen, die dort arbeiten, ob am Empfang oder beim Frühstück. Mein Zimmer war klein, vor allem das Bad, aber alles da und sauber. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungverhältnis.

Zentrales, sehr sauberes Hotel mit gutem Frühstück
Personal sehr freundlich. Einzelzimmer sehr klein. Bad ausreichend jedoch im obersten Stock 3. Etage Probleme mit dem warmen Wasser. Regelung war nicht optimal. Anfangs sehr heißes Wasser und nach kurzer Zeit sprunghaft auf sehr kalt geregelt. Frühstücksbuffet sehr lecker und nicht einseitig. Parksituation direkt am Hotel sehr eingeschränkt. Kostenlose Parkplätze in Umgebung jedoch muss man Glück haben einen zu ergattern. Fahrstuhl gibt es nicht im Hotel. Gepäck muss über Treppenhaus nach oben gebracht werden.

Je suis allé à Léverkusen pour le semi marathon annuel, et cet hotel est à 400m du point de départ et d'arrivée. Idéal pour un coureur qui participe!!

Är stamkund i det här hotellet. Blev inte besviken denna gång heller. Allt är rent och fräscht och personalen är mer än vänlig. Priset är relativt lågt och jag tycker att man får mer än vad man betalar för.

Very friendly staff, good location.
Perfect alternative location for more expensive hotels in Cologne during big trade shows. Hotel located only three minutes walk to Opladen train station, 15 mins train ride with direct stop at Köln Messe, avoiding parking in Cologne. Very friendly and helpful staff, hotel has parking option a few houses away. Good breakfast. Extra tip: good Indian restaurant Royal Punjab a few blocks away ;-).

Jag är stamkund i detta hotell, ungefär fyra gånger om året. Anledningar är det förmånliga priset, det centrala läget (om man har i stadsdelen Opladen att göra) och närheten till offentlig trafik samt att trådlös Internet ingår. Dessbättre är allt rent och fint, personalen mycket tillmötesgående och frukosten variationsrik, särskilt i förhållande till att det är ett mindre hotell. Jag tycker även att inredningen är smakfull, och bra är att det finns en lounge att använda ifall man har checkat ut, men har tid kvar inför hemresan.

Dit hotel is vlak buiten de stad Keulen maar alles is goed bereikbaar. Het ontbijt was zeer goed, gevarieerd. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en niets is te veel. Je kan zelfs koud drinken beneden halen, zelf service. Wel geen warme dranken ter beschikking Propere kamer en zeer ruim Wel vaak koud in de kamer, maar chauffage is zelf te regelen

A visit at this hotel is like being at home, in a positive sense. The staff really cares for the individual guest, starting from check-in when I was offered advice where to dine, continuing at breakfast when I was offered additional coffee and freshly made scrambled eggs etc. and was asked whether I had additional wishes, and finishing after check-out when I spent some time at the lounge and was asked whether I was fine or if I needed something. The breakfast was rich, compared to the size of the hotel. I especially recognized how tastefully everything was designed in the breakfast room, with matching colors from ceilings to curtains, candles, other decoration, etc. This is just an example of the general caring attitude that I met throughout. I will become a regular guest to this hotel! The location is central to both public transport and the center of this part of the town (Opladen). Still, at least my room was very quiet.

L' hotel è ben curato e pulito. La posizione è ottima per i collegamenti ferroviari. Il personale è disponibile e gentile. L' ambiente è molto familiare. La colazione buona con prodotti di qualità. Unico difetto poco sapone e shampoo in camera.
