fantastic hotel with genuine people as staff, english speaking, very clean, very friendly, tasty breakfast, wifi, entrance key to the main door and no problems whatsoever!

“A warm and welcoming visit to Cologne”

It was a delight to stay in this hotel. The service was extremely friendly and helpful and it was immaculately clean. The room was far nicer than I had expected from the pictures and it is in a great location next to Neumarkt just a few minutes walk from the U-Bahn and an easy walk into the Altstadt. The hotel bar is also cosy and welcoming. Breakfast was German style with a good selection of meats and cheeses and different breads.

“Decent place to stay in Köln”

City Hotel Köln was nice overall; it's a short walk to the main shopping area downtown and only a bit more (10-15 min) to the Cathedral or river. The rooms were clean and good looking, the neighborhood is quiet and the free breakfast was good. Wi-fi internet was not working during our stay, which was annoying but not a deal-breaker. Overall our stay was good and although I think it was a bit overpriced, I would keep it in mind as an option if traveling to Köln again.

“Lovely room”

Lovely room with doors opening onto a roof area. The adjoining ensuite included a bath which was great. No tissues provided, but otherwise all of our comforts were taken care of.

“Great location”

Not a bad little hotel in a great location with everything in th city being within easy walking distance. A little rough around the edges (could use a lick of paint, tiles in the bathroom loose), but for the location it was a great deal and of the sort of standard I expected for the money. The breakfast buffet is great. Some staff really friendly and helpful, others less so. OverAll, I would stay again.
