“Complimentary Breakfast a Plus”

We chose Residence Inn for an overnight stay because it offered a complimentary breakfast. With 5 of us, that helped cut down the cost of our visit significantly.

“Washington DC”

We like the fact that breakfast is included so there's no need to look for a place to have breakfast before we head out for our business. Shopping is convenience, just across the street.

“comfortable, spacious rooms”

Very impressed with the size of the room and value for the money. It is a little out of the way if you are going to spend a lot of time in downtown DC, but convenient to the northeastern suburbs.

“Great Hotel and near University of Maryland”

This is great hotel near the University of Maryland and not far from the university metro station (ample parking available). The hotel has great rooms, especially if travelling with a family. Breakfast is the standard at most hotels and they also have some evening receptions, with a light meal, during the week.

“Consistent quality”

This was our second stay at this hotel, and we will definitely continue to utilize their facility. The hotel is well maintained and, most importantly to me, our room was very clean. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and good and the kitchen staff worked hard to keep up with demand. A very nice housekeeping staff member also overheard our request for an extra blanket being denied (the front desk told us they had no more due to a full house) and went out of his way to offer us an extra comforter - so nice and appreciated! Highly recommend this extended stay hotel!

“Good choice”

Stayed here over the Fourth of July holiday. About five miles north of the Beltway and the Silver Spring metro stop, so most convenient if you're renting a car. Very nice room -- plenty of space, clean, with modern kitchenette and new appliances. Large grocery store across the street a plus. Mattress was a bit soft for my taste. Complimentary breakfast included eggs, sausages, waffles -- more than just cold cereal and small bagels. "Business center" has two computers with free internet access. Free Wall St. Journal, USA Today and Wash. Post available in lobby -- which was nice enough that people actually sat around and read, watched TV, talked.... I left the lights on in rental car and ran down the battery; within 5 minutes the staff had given me a "jump" and I was on my way.

My daughter lives in Silver Spring, and I will always stay here when I visit. Couldn't believe how happy all the staff was from housekeeping to front desk. Room was immaculate, spacious. Lots of room when the family came to visit!

This is one of the best hotel stays I've experienced. Clean, friendly, convenient. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Will definitely look for other Marriot Residence Inns in other locations.

“Best Value”

A free breakfast buffet is available every morning. Dinner is also free Mon.-Thurs. Water pressure could be better, but was still an improvement over most hotels. Air filters in ventilation may have needed to be replaced. Floor plan of the room was functional and had lots of closet and storage space. 2 people can comfortably stay in the room for an extended period of time. The hotel is a great deal especially when you book a travel package through Expedia.

“Spend quality time”

You will always find a clean and spacious room and nice housekeeping service. A not extraordinary breakfast variety but is well presented and again nice and kindly serviced. All facilities are great and friendly to be used. Wireless Internet access, computer and printer at your service if you haven't brought one with you. I always repeat.
