“will definitely stay at a hampton hotel again”
we had a great experience.
“Convenience at good value”
Short walk to Metro station makes all Washington an easy reach. Nearby wide selection of every cuisine imaginable.
“Hampton Inn”
Basically a decent hotel located in the upgraded area of Silver Spring. Internet is free but very slow. The breakfast is also free but not particularly appetizing. The rooms are fine and the lobby area fine. There is no parking at the hotel and you must use the valet parking which can be expensive and slow to get your car. But, if you stop at the desk and ask for your car then have breakfast then by the time you finish it will normally be there. There is no restaurant or bar at the hotel but across the street is the sister hotel the Hilton which has both although not particularly good. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance.
“Silver Spring DC Vacation”
We selected this hotel because it was close to the Metro, breakfast, and pool. Pool was only open from 4:00-10:00. Tile floor around swimming pool was extremely slippery and dangerous, an accident waiting to happen.Breakfast room was way too small to accomodate groups. We ate at other places. The Metro was close to the hotel and was an easy travel to all the DC sites.
“Wonderful time at the Hampton”
We had a great time the hotel was really nice and comfortable. the rooms were clean, I would stay there again. The cons: the maid did not supply any wash clothes and when we requested them she only brought one. One for real!. The Continental Breakfast was terrible, I am sure you can find something good there but the juice was all spoiled. All in all I would definety stay there again. The price was great and we had a really good time there. I would recommend to my friends and family to stay at the hampton in Silver Springs Maryland it was well worth the money and there was no surprises. It was close the restaurant and attractions and stores and movies and an easy drive into Washington DC. It was a great trip thanks Expedia
“Silver Spring Hampton Inn”
The hotel is very convenient to the Fillmore and surrounding restaurants, etc.. which suited our needs. It was our first time to Silver Spring and we unfortunately observed not much happening on this weeknight!
“My Stay @ Hampton Inn in Slver Spring Maryland.”
Staff were friendly, accommodating and the locatin was great. I have stayed here before so that is why I returned. The parking is undesireable in that you have to pay to park or use the public prk and feed the meter @ 6:00 a.m.
“Sucked”
We had a maid walk into our room twice...without knocking. The pool and spa was filthy. And we had to wait till the lifeguards got there...of course when they wanted to get there. THE WORST PART? THE EFFING VALET SCRATCHED MY CAR AND NOW THEY WONT PAY FOR IT!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL
“great food”
There free breakfast was the best.It was nice a hot and a great selection. The location was great they had endless adminities
“Not a bad experience”
Our room did not have a hair dryer, although we were later told it was standard to have one. The air conditioner was positioned across from the bed so cold air blew on us throughout the night. There was also a $12 charge for parking (valet) and the entrance circle of the hotel is very cramped and can get crowded during busy times. The entrance drive way not easy to access when entering from across the street. Even though our room faced a busy street, noise level was good. Complimentary cookies were available in the lobby. The breakfast was fairly good. All the cups, plates and utensils were plastic or paper. There was adequate seating. The scrambled eggs seemed to be made from a powdered mix and were dry as were the sausages. There also was yogurt, bagels, cereals, waffle, pastries and fresh fruit.
