“excellent”
the staff was ver friendly to me and my husband. They gave us a very nice smile which made us feel it was worth the money.... answered all our question... and attended to us when needed. I will diffenetly come back again.
“Very Satisfied!!!!”
Me and my Boyfriend stayed here for two nights for New years eve and we loved it. It was so beautiful, clean and everyone was so nice. I would definitely stay hre again. It is on the pricy side id have to admit but it was well worth it. The only thing i was disappointed about was that i had booked our room like two months in advance and I requested king size bed. When we got to our room we had two double sized beds. I called them and told them what happened and thy said that thy had run out. I dot see how they could run out hen i had booked a king size bed that they had told me was available at the time. They couldn't accommodate my request so i was a little upset. Also i was told that there were mini refrigerators in every room and there was no refrigerator to be found. Other than those two mistakes they made, we were very happy.
“We're Looking Forward to our Return!”
Christmas on the Potomac was AWESOME!!! Love the place! The staff is most accommodating and friendly. Everything about our Gaylord visit was FIRST CLASS!!! Thanks for a wonderful experience. Our only complaint is that there is no door to the sink area of the bathroom. It would also be nice to have a microwave.
“Very nice, but very pricely”
The facilities are very nice, but I was charged a 15.90/day resort charge when the pool and hot tub were both down for repairs - I saw nothing else that would categorize it as a resort. It sits in a new development that will be nice in a couple of years, but seems isolated and without a lot of options at this time. I probably would not have chosen this particular site had my conference not been here.
“Amazing Hotel”
The Gaylord National exceeded our expectations in every way! Excellent for all ages, especially children! The rooms were spotless, the staff was helpful, the amenities were great! The fountain laser light show was a perfect way to wind down from our busy days. The food is somewhat expensive, but everything in DC is pricey. Will definitely visit again.
“Incredible hotel”
The hotel itself was magnificent, while the rooms were pleasant but not luxurious. You are definitely paying for the experience of the hotel as a whole. The harbor surrounding the hotel is steps away, and there are plenty of great places to eat.
“Deluxe hotel with excellent service”
Found everything about our stay more than satisfactory. Only initial snag was a misunderstanding about room being ready. Someone came to check on the room while we were still dialing the desk to say the room wasn't totally finished yet and promptly switched us to an even nicer room. Excellent view from our balcony of the indoor dancing fountains and the on the river fireworks. Room service was helpful and food exactly as ordered. Plan to return.

Stay at the same hotel in Orlando before as expected everything is still very satisfied.
“Gaylord National - Definitely Worth It!”
Our stay at the Gaylord National was fantastic! Not only was the hotel beautiful, cleanly, and comfortable, but the location was great. National Harbor is a new, modern area with phenomenal restaurants and upscale shopping within walking distance. Enjoying a sunset drink in the atrium with a view of the harbor is absolutely worthwhile. The fountain music shows are enjoyable for kids and adults alike, the indoor gardens and outdoor landscaping are breathtaking, and the restaurants within the hotel were outstanding. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
“Great Place, Great Neighborhood, But Not in DC”
Great place, great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and touristy, saw one of the most talented musicians in the ice cream parlor singing and playing guitar. But it is not in DC, so you will need about a 10 min drive to get to DC.
