Overall, everything was excellent. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. When my husband became sick, they were compassionate and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Good location
We we able to leave our luggage and go explore which was very nice. The staff was pleasant to deal with. Hotel is in a great location for walking to different sights. We did make the mistake of turning the AC on at night which caused a condensation leak in the ceiling vent right in front of the bathroom. We were told it would stop in about 2-3 hours and it was still dripping when we checked out the next morning. Slippery floors, wet towels. Also the grout in the shower really needs to be bleached- nasty looking. They did refund the cost of the breakfast for our leak inconvenience. I would consider staying there again.

Perfect NH hotel
Great hotel only couple of minutes from bus drop-off and also close to train station. Brilliant check-in from Catarina who was super efficient and recommended all the places to visit on a map and the best route to take. I would highly recommend the restaurant. Usually I eat out, but on this occasion tried the restaurant and the meal was superb. Hotel is close to the river and a lovely 10 minute walk into town. I had a one night stay here to see Coimbra. I think one day is enough to see all the sites.

Location ok with a simple walk to the city centre. Typical NH hotel features but a bit tired and in need of some new fittings. Great breakfast as usual.

Nice standard of hotel with excellent reception staff, good facilities and welcome treats. A bit of a walk to the old city but doable. We had a slight problem with the electric sockets working on one wall and had to ask for our missing kettle. Can I suggest for breakfast acquiring a new toaster as unable to access toast due to the queue for the slow one rack appliance.

Excellent stay in Coimbra
It was amazing stay. Excellent location. Close, walking proximity to the old town and university. Beautiful hotel, spacious room, everything upgraded. The breakfast was served with variety of delicious food. Excellent customer service. Without any hesitation would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The parking was conveniently located under the property, and there is easy access to the town center from this location. The rooms were comfortable and clean, although the air conditioning did not seem to be working. The breakfast was very well thought-out and it offered many choices for all different dietary needs.

The condiciones in the room was not good. The carpets had very bad smell. The bathroom door had water demage and the door will not close properly. The air-conditioned was extremely noisy. It was not a good experience.

The room and the breakfast were very very good. However the spa (jacuzzi and sauna) are not good, I had to book in advance but when i went there the water was cold and the sauna was not even 20 degrees. There is a nice outdoor swimming pool.

The premium room was very comfortable. The furniture and wall to wall carpet were somewhat outdated. The breakfast was good and the room was of a good size. We did not get precise information about the bus service to the university, so we walked. (Distances are ok.) The hotel is halfway between Coimbra A and Coimbra B train stations. Both times the taxi fares were 5 euros.
